Where are you getting your masks?

Just that really...

I’m currently reusing an N95 type mask, which probably isn’t sensible, and rather than deprive those who need it of clinical PPE, I wondered if there was anywhere good online selling a washable face mask?

(I’m also too lazy/rubbish with a sewing machine to make one, so would rather just buy)

We have made some with a filter pocket and nose strips so they are more secure around the face.

My mum sewed me one out of an old pillow case Grin

Mine is a bit pointless though because my glasses steam up so it isn't tight enough. I haven't told my mum though because it took her ages to make

Thank you buttermilkwaffles DH and I were debating the pros and cons of buying masks only yesterday and we also didn't want to take away from people more in need as we only go out once a week. These are perfect and great fun.

It’s a simple one this, don’t waste your money or deprive the NHS of any equipment.

Keep your distance, wash your hands etc. This is the best protection unless you are in daily contact. with someone who has the virus.
Get with the WHO and the Government.

I ordered a couple from etsy just in case they are made compulsory. I chose a very fetching Liberty print!

Making my own for me and my family. Really easy, but I also enjoy seeing so it’s nice to have a project.

I ordered some from Baujken. I really hope they don't become compulsory, but equally wouldn't like to not have them in case they do, then be stuck inside not able to get any.

@buttermilkwaffles thank you for that, I've done it & it works. I'm going to wear it when I give blood later

I saw that they have some for sale at my local chemist. I didn't bother asking the price as a 50ml bottle of anti bac gel was £5.50.

Sadiq Khan has called for them to be made them compulsory if you use public transport, other mayors have too, so it may be a good idea to invest in them, as long as they are non-medical ones. If we all protect people from ourselves, that has to be a good thing?

Self-isolating in the middle of the country so I'm fashioning mine out of rhubarb leaves. They don't work by the way.
