I was out on my run, which I do everyday on the same route- a narrow, windy woodland path which is usually deserted- until today I never saw anyone else there at all. Today, I spotted some people in the distance, and assumed it was a family group, so ran back about 100m to find somewhere so I could keep 2m from them.
4 teenagers went past with a dog- a boy and 3 girls all looking about 15. We live in a tiny village and I’m sure would have heard if there were quadruplets in the 400 or so people living here. The dog pulled near me, stopped and did a huge, wet poo. I tried to move away, stating that I’m allergic to dogs. They didn’t clear up the poo, and as I ran through the path, I saw other dog dirt. Yesterday there was none, except deer poo which I know from having to remove it from my lawn! I’m really angry that up to 4 families were stupid enough to let their kids do this, especially as we are 40 minutes from a hospital. If I asked in the village, I could probably find out who they were- would you speak to someone/111? Sorry if I am overreacting, I am asthmatic and so are some of my children so we’re very worried. My run is my treat everyday.

Sorry I'm confused. Why are you wanting to ring 111?

You want to ring the police because they didn't pick up their dog's poo?

No. I wouldn't call 101. I think it's an overreaction... and they won't do anything. I know that's they shouldn't be meeting as a unit greater then their family, but what are the police going to do?

If you're really at risk you need to decide whether you can go without your run (really not great)... or go super super early? I'd just relax to be honest. You are unlikely to get it from a group of people walking past. You did the right thing to stay to one side...
