My step mum got taken to hospital last week with suspected covid, for it confirmed on Sunday. She's been on oxygen, IV antibiotics and has had a hell of a time of it, especially since she's for asthma.

BUT SHES COMING HOME TODAY!!
She's been able to breathe unaided for 24 hours so she's been given the all clear.

Just some good news today. It could have been worse, and it was so close at one point.

Thank you, all. The outpouring of relief from her friends and family online has been great to see as well. My parents have been pretty vocal about it all, especially as a friends mum recently died from it.

She's tired still, but she's home. We chatted via video for a little bit and she loved seeing the grandchildren, but you could see the exhaustion.

Hopefully she'll sleep better at home. They're still worried she might deteriorate again, but the fact she's home is a great sign!
