US State of Missouri suing China

The lawsuit states that:
"In mid-January, on or around January 16, despite knowing the risks of doing so, Wuhan leaders hosted a potluck dinner for 40,000 residents, increasing the potential spread of the virus," it says. "Defendants allowed these massive public gatherings and massive exodus from Wuhan despite knowing the risks of COVID-19, including the risk of human-to-human transmission."

Of course its just politicking/electioneering, as the State of Missouri has as much chance of successfully suing China as Donald Duck. And interesting they would choose to pursue an entity which it is literally impossible for it be successful against, as opposed to say the US government/agencies for their dithering.

The wording certainly got me thinking though, how about this?

"In mid-March, despite knowing the risks of doing so, the British Government allowed the three day Cheltenham festival to proceed, increasing the potential spread of the virus, between and from the 250,000 atendees. The British Government allowed these massive public gatherings and others, despite knowing the risks of COVID-19, including the risk of human-to-human transmission."

Anyway, the blame game is underway.

They would be better looking closer to home, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue might be a start.

Are you saying the Republic of Ireland could sue the UK government for the cost of treating Covid-19 in Ireland @Cam77 ?

What do you think the outcome of that would be?

They aren't. They can't.

Now I'm off to the small claims court to sue the USA for the return of John Oliver.
