Children shielding

I have just received a letter saying my 13 year old must shield for 12 weeks and wanted to ask what others are doing in the same situation. Both myself and DH are keyworkers so are still working our normal hours. DH doesn’t come into contact with too many people each day but I work in a school. We also have to shop for relatives as well as ourselves. The letter gives guidelines which are more relevant to adults shielding rather than a child.
