I miss my dad, I always spend his birthday with him, wasn’t able to this year. I’ve spoken to him a lot on the phone (to the stage he’s told me to go and annoy someone else 😂)

My friends. One I have coffee with every morning and one who makes the most kick ass dinners I look forward to all month.

My DS. He is in a care home not too far away (he has severe autism). Speak to him (or try to) everyday just so worried.

Time on my own Blush, I know that sounds insensitive to people who do live on their own but I am very used to my own company and my own space as DH works away a lot and DS is at uni ... to be together all the time now can be challenging.

No one.

I've been really saddened that my (very few) family and friends haven't cared about me or DH, I've checked on them but not one person has asked if we're okay.

I knew I put a lot of effort into the relationships but it's made me realise I make ALL the effort - so now, no more!

It's liberating and I've not missed any one at all. I'll be moving as soon as possible far away from current town, for a fresh start.

I miss seeing my DMum in person

Usually I’d take DC to visit both sets of GPs at Easter. We’ll go some other time, but strange not to see the spring where they live

I miss being in my own home, currently stranded in France ( we live in Spain) our paperwork is out of date and we are hitting so many brick walls as all the relevant offices are closed . Looks like we maybe here till May . Kids are going slightly bonkers without thier stuff

My mum, my sister. My NCT group of friends.
My oldest friend doesn’t live locally and we’ve always chatted by text but that hasn’t changed.

My eldest DD and my granddaughter. They only live 5 mins away and I FaceTime them daily but not being able to give them a cuddle is horrible. It’s DD birthday next week and it’ll be the first birthday I haven’t been with her. That said, I’d do anything to keep them and others safe, so we’ll celebrate properly when we can Smile

My friends. My music lessons. Being able to go out coffee and mooch in shops. Very small price to pay though to keep everyone safe.

My job, my family, getting drunk in the living room with friends. Feeling a reason to get up every morning.. we are lucky to have pets as them needing food and attention is currently the only reason I get out of bed

I’m so sorry @ImPeckish maybe this is for the best though. At least you can stop giving your attention to people who don’t deserve it

@Ragwort it’s not selfish, everyone is struggling in different ways. Being cooped up together for some is as hard as separation

@monkeytennis97 that must be so stressful, how much does he understand if anything about why you can’t visit? How is it effecting him?

My sister, she's pregnant with her first baby and I wish I could be there to support her more.
I also miss my stepdaughters (12yrs and 20yrs), they live internationally so we can't see them for the foreseeable future, unlike our usual arrangements. Sending care packages and playing online games but I am hoping for a quick end to the crisis.

I really miss my grandchildren. I feel so lucky to see them every day via FaceTime but it’s not the same as having cuddles 😞

At this point I miss absolutely everyone! I have even reached the point where I miss my colleagues Confused I think I miss basic chit chat with strangers or acquaintances the most even, because I’m in constant contact with my friends/family and I know they’re okay.

me! I’m missing me! I’m used to everyone going out and getting time on my own. It’s a struggle having everyone here especially my eldest who is severely autistic and usually boards at college.
