Just that really, just wondering what routines people have got into during lockdown now we are 3 weeks in? What’s the best bits of your day? Anything you are enjoying that you didn’t think you would?

Not worrying to much about time - other than alarms set for medication
Running then yoga then breakfast
Baking at some point, scones to go with soup, cake for coffee meet ups with friends digitally in the afternoon
Dd1 calls from US every morning but afternoon here

That’s about it

Running 5k on my treadmill in my lunch break. I’d have to go out on visits and ming all afternoon if I did that in work. At home I can have a leisurely shower and sit around in my comfies with wet hair. Grin

Drinking by 3pm. Just kidding maybe

Three of us working from home, plus one child - we've managed to synchronise so we get to eat lunch together, which is nice.

Try to do a bit of the following everyday:
Duolingo to try and refresh all the french I've forgotten since school.
Reading.
Audiobooks.
Practicing mindfulness and being grateful (getting frustrated with family so fairly important!).

Cracking open the wine at 4pm to keep me sane with a 6 year old, a 4 year old and a 1 year old who doesn’t sleep and doesn’t nap!

Love going for an hours walk with my dogs at 7am, I hardly see a soul, it’s so peaceful, you can hear nature sighing with relief from the fall in pollution. Online yoga or Pilates class at 9.30am it makes you feel in a better frame of mind for the day. Housework, lunch, see to my horse, cook dinner and tidy kitchen then flop on the sofa for the evening 😊

Coffee in bed when I wake up. PE with Joe at 9am. Walk with the DC after lunch. They're allowed their kindles after 4pm - because by then I really need a break from the constant chatter!

Getting too pissed every night
Working from home with a hangover and promising myself I won't do it again

Making sure the kids get at least an hour in the garden and daily walk (they are bigger)

DH has reduced shifts and has turned into a very competent housewife.

Over sleeping and being at least an hour late to work every day..technically I work flexi but Hmm staring out of my garden window at the old ladies who meet and do not maintain social distancing. Continuously talk to and harass the cat...I really think he is starting to understand me Grin

Another one for PE with Joe. In normal times, I think would find Joe annoying, but It really touches me that he's doing the workout for kids every morning. I join in with the quizzes and chat back to him as I do the workout!

I'm still working, albeit from home, but we've taken to a loose version of:-

Kids and us wake at 7.30, kids watch tv while we have a brew in bed.
8.30 I shower and dress for "work" and tuck myself in the office, dh does breakfast for us all
9-11.30 I work, dh does activities/schoolwork with dc
11.30-1 We all stop and relax together, tv, lunch etc.
1-4 I work, dh does stuff with dc/housework and takes them out for at least 1.5 hr walk
4-5 kids tv, I work, dh relaxes
5-6 I chill with the kids, dh goes and has some time to himself
6-7 dinner
7- Kids in bed, dh and I have a wine and do the Jimmy Carr daily quiz Grin

I fucking love it!!

Every morning at around 10.30 we have a cup of tea and a biscuit in the garden. DD is 2 and she loves it and shouts "tea time" as loud as she can when I'm bringing out the tray.
