Covid

Has anyone tried searching 'coronavirus' in the Books section of Amazon!?! You'd be amazed...

I did just that, and was amazed at some of the titles on there already (many presumably 'self published'):
"Fertile in Lockdown" - looks to be a lockdown themed erotica collection
"Coronavirus and Christ"
"How to Profit from the Coronavirus Recession"
"China: Trade War and Coronavirus"
"Life After Covid-19: A Novella Series"
I haven't actually got much further than the first few pages but there are tonnes of results.
Quite apart from the questionable good taste of some of these titles, I'm wondering how anyone would think any of them were actually well written? As they must all, without exception, have been rushed out?

Coronavirus isn’t a new virus - what’s new is this specific type which they’ve called covid-19. Well, covid-19 is the actual disease you get. I’ve forgotten the other label of this particular virus. Somebody with more knowledge is bound to be along. I’m off to bed.

Yes I appreciate it's not a new virus, merely a new strain. But many of these titles are clearly directed at the current coronavirus pandemic..

Unfortunately anyone can cobble together a crappy pdf and convert it into a Kindle "book" and sell it on Amazon. As you are effectively both publisher and author, there is no quality control.
