Just that really - anyone started taking vitamins to try give their immune system a boost?

I've seen some news articles saying other countries been treating it with vitamin c and d .

Just to add, I'm in no way that it's a cure and there's no evidence it works, for me I just feel like I have to do something 🤷‍♀️

Vitamin C (we always have it on hand to take in big doses when fighting things off), and we’ve expanded to fish oil capsules with multi-vitamins added, mainly for the A & D.

I was taking 1000mg effervescent vit c and vitabiotics d3 high strength every day when I had fatigue. Much better now so taking every few days. There is an oral spray which had d3 and k2, I use that sometimes.

I’ve taken Vit D3 in the winter for many years...and a little amazed that people don’t know to do that

The link between D3 deficiency and respiratory diseases has been around a while.

What is flu season after all?

A good multi (with zinc), and a separate 30% iron/vitamin C combo.

The iron ones look and taste like gummy bears which helps with compliance Grin

My friend who is a GP has recommended that everyone starts taking Vitamin D

Most of us are deficient in magnesium too, because of the quality of our soil these days.

I take a quality (it matters for this one) magnesium citrate every night before bed too. Really helps your sleep.

Oh yes, we have two types of vit c - one in big dose tablets, and one in a smaller dose with zinc.

I usually forget to take them but have tried to remember. I make sure I have vitamin c and D3. the vitamin D helps prevent lung issues.

I've been taking an immune booster for a couple of months. Just in case. I don't want to catch flu.

I've been taking D3 for 11 years but my usual one I buy from H&B is out of stock so I guess I'm going to have to go back to the ones the Gp prescribe for me and they give me tummy issues.

I take so many vitamins I rattle, but to strengthen myself again any possible infections we are all
Taking a large dose of D3, and a large dose of zinc.

I'm also drinking tonic water (not with gin sadly), and taking an antihistamine.

But on their advice I’m taking extra vitamin D (shielding) and I take a standard multivitamin sometimes anyhow

High strength D3 (take with K2)
Zinc
Vitamin C
Red onions, apples, green tea and other quercetin/EGCG rich foods, which augment the bioavailability of zinc into the cells.
Low sugar, processed carbs, processed seed oils, alcohol diet, which can diminish immunity.

Is there different types of vitamin d ? I see people mentioning d3 mine is a high dose vitamin d ? Also high dose vitamin c 1000mg don't think it has zinc though.

Also waiting on a daily pro biotic arriving supposed to be good for immune system.

I've seen people mention magnesium and zinc - what specifically is that good for ?
