@Taffyapple8 thanks for the new thread. I was on some earlier threads but returning to ask if anyone else is still unwell after 28 days? I have asthma, usually well controlled with inhalers, and have thought I was recovering a couple of times only to go downhill again. Yesterday I felt almost normal but this morning was very breathless again and weird new ache in bottom of lungs. I’m so fed up. I am worried work won’t believe I can still be ill after so long. I’m 53.

Just seen a thread has been started 30+. Will hunt for it. Take care all.

Thanks taffyapple!
Checking in just to say do be so cautious early on and rest for a few more days if you can, it's so easy to do too much when you feel good in the morning and have a horrible set back at night.
Keep the water up too to flush everything out.

Hi everyone 👋

Thanks Taffyapple8 Smile

I'm somewhere between day 12-14, and I'm in the shielded group so mainly focussing on not shitting self in fear.

Chest tightness/ lung pain started Monday. I've had a cough for months so who knows 🤷‍♀️

(GP thinks I have it).

Goatymcgoaty · 09/04/2020 18:01

I’m joining too. Been fine today, though got a bit out of breath when I walked to the shop. Most symptoms seem to kick in at night, so we’ll see what tonight brings.
Never had a repeat of the high temperature I had on Monday though.

Day 28, I think? I developed secondary bacterial pneumonia but I’ve massively turned a corner. I am so relieved. I remain weak and tired with a low grade fever of 37.8 and a cough still but much better than a week ago. There is light at the end of the tunnel. :)

jakesmommy · 09/04/2020 18:18

I think I developed this as well, hurt in chest, have you had shaking and chills too?

Thanks for the new thread @Taffyapple8

Not having a great day, burning lung and back pain is back and very tight/feels difficult to breathe (but I can draw deep breath, just have to really focus)
Day 19/20 for me.

Crayfishforyou · 09/04/2020 19:01

Day 10ish.
Feeling good but wiped out.
No temp for a few days, chest pain subsided somewhat, no major waves of dizziness/adrenaline etc.
I am rarely off the sofa, I don't want to jeopardise feeling better. I'm slightly less white today too.
I am also taking many many supplements;
Iron, b vitamins, vitamin c, vitamin d and calcium, digestive enzymes and spirulina.

@Taffyapple8 Yes - from 4.30pm onwards was always bad for me.

There is hope though. It’s day 14 for me today and have felt decidedly more human for the past two days in a row - in fact, almost normal today except for the tiredness!

Report
Taffyapple8 · 09/04/2020 19:06

@UncomfortableBadger I wonder why that is? I've been really good all day although not done anything and then it strikes again like clockwork and puts the frighteners into me. Fever, churning belly, nausea etc. That's reassuring that you feel better. Im still terrified I'm going to have that downward spiral I've heard mentioned and will require hospitalisation

@Crayfishforyou glad you're feeling better. I hope it continues for you but very reassuring that youve not had a fever

Well done @taffyapple8 on the new thread.
I have been exhausted and asleep today (day 22)

@Taffyapple8 yes I started dreading the evenings. So much worse for some evening. Hang in there - I didn't start feeling 'safe' until day 15 or so x

Day 19 today and had the best day so far, still a bit chesty but definitely improved.

Taffyapple8 · 09/04/2020 20:19

@Littleninja1 you too? I really do dread the evenings. I'm lying here so so hot and so so fed up. Hopefully will turn a corner soon. How are you doing today?

Evening all.

Day 22 here. Went to Tesco this afternoon, something that was utterly unthinkable a week ago. I suspect I did overdo it a bit and will pay the price tomorrow but yay! Pizza for tea.

Day 19 here. I feel worst in the mornings, exhausted in the afternoon, okay from about 4.30 - 6.30 unless I overdo it and then in pain again during the evening. Sometimes I cannot walk at all and just need to lie down. So I seem the other way around to you taffy
I did make it out for a walk today in the late afternoon, but felt quite breathless.

Urgh today has been tough. Lots of coughing and so weak. Am keeping an eye on symptoms in case this could be the start of pneumonia @JackJackIncredible any pointers?
