HOW TO DISINFECT YOUR FRUIT!

Have you got some strawberries that need disinfecting? Any berries or pre chopped fruit that you're not sure about?

Here's a quick and easy way if making sure you don't accidentally eat something riddled with COVID19:

Take your fruit, rinse it off, and add it to a large jar approx 1litre. Then, add 250g of sugar before pouring a litre of vodka over it. Close the jar. Shake it up until it's all mingled.

Store in a cupboard for a week, shaking it every day to make sure the sugar dissolves. After seven days, strain the fruit and pour the liquid into a sterilised glass bottle.

Enjoy your disinfected strawberries/berries/other fruit as desired.

DO NOT GIVE TO CHILDREN.

Baileys only works if iced and accompanied by chocolate. And Pimms! Controversial but I believe it also works for strawberries and mint.

FYI you can also disinfect fresh herbs this way too - basil and mint vodka disinfection is extremely tasty. 🌿
