DD (6) asked when lockdown would be over and we could go out to places again. I sat her down and we discussed what was going on, she seemed to understand already. She’s been a bit down today. My youngest (2.5) doesn’t know what is going on but I sense that the lack of routine is bothering him.
I’m WFH for the foreseeable, I’m expected to be at my laptop all day (8hrs) which means the DC get much less input from me than I’d like and we can’t get out for a walk until DP gets home from work. We aren’t managing much home-schooling for the same reason, it’s pretty much impossible when I’m meant to be doing exactly the same as I would at work.
How can I keep my DC positive and sane through this time? They are obviously starting to feel it and it’s making me feel like a really crap parent
