Nope. And you're not alone.

I'm more scared that as a society we seem significantly more neurotic than at the time of SARS, and that lack of balance seems to be representative of the way society is moving in general, particularly in such a short space of time.

I'm not saying catching Covid 19 isn't possible, but context has completely gone out of the window. And the media isn't helping.

YANBU, most people I know aren't worried and think its all a massive overreaction. Even people who work in the NHS! Its like Swine Flu and Ebola all over again, although to be fair I actually knew several people who had Swine Flu and they are all very much still alive. So it wasn't the end of days event that it was predicted at the time...

There's not a lot any of us can do about it anyway, other than take the sensible precautions of practicing good hygine. Which most people surely do anyway? I don't see what ransacking supermarket shelves of toilet roll and washing up liquid will do either?

I couldnt give a shiny shite and i have a chronic illness and severely compromised immune system. You are more likely to get hit by a bus than catch Corona. These people clearly have no real problems to worry about- lucky them.

I have not noticed anyone overreacting or having a panic in real life. I think it is correct for the government to plan for the worst in case it does happen as there is a chance it could be devastating. The rest of us should remain alert and carry on until told otherwise.

I'm not worried about the virus itself. I'm worried about the economic consequences if schools and workplaces need to be shut.

I work for a small business. I'm worried about my job, and how I will cope if school shuts and I have no childcare so can't get to work.

I'm not worried. No one else I know is worried either. I'm slightly more concerned for my older relatives, some who have other health issues, but it is what it is.

@Doggodogington which is fair enough. I would follow the right steps and self isolate if I thought I may have the virus but until then I’ll go about my life as normal.
