Check FutureLearn, they have loads of things I want to do! Languages, literature, other stuff. All free unless you want a certificate at the end in which case you have to pay.

If you can overlook who sponsors it then:

The Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, known as iDEA is an international programme that helps you develop digital, enterprise and employability skills for free.

For anyone learning a language or trying to remember one that’s rusty, the Coffee Break podcasts are easy listening (for the limited range that they cover)

There’s also the Drops app for languages

Coursera and Saylor Academy for other stuff. There’s also Khan Academy and the crash course videos on YouTube.

Vision2learn.com offer free courses, but they do require commitment as there's a fee if you don't finish. But you do get an actual qualification of it.

Just came back to recommend Coursera but some else has beaten me to it.

There is a class on there referred to as the happiness class.

Duolingo is great. I learned about it on here. I've been learning Welsh, and managing an hour each evening since earlier in the year. They have most languages, and you can do as much or as little as you want.
