Hello ladies, after a mammoth 47 day cycle hoping for a December baby, today is once again CD1 for me.

If all goes to plan this month my EDD would be Jan 30th so I thought I'd start the February bus as a positive step forward.

Am fully expecting to be on my own for a while but do come and sit beside me for the journey if you feel the need......

I just wanted to say hi decafgirl, as a fellow insanely long cycler - mine is 46 days. I see people moaning about their 'long' 31 day cycles, try adding another 2 weeks onto it!!

This cycle we cained the BD daily for a solid 2 week period over ovulation and now neither of us have any interest... sick of it!

I'm actually on CD43 of second cycle TTC - first one was a chem preg and this one, well just a few mins ago got a faint line on a test but not going to declare it even here until after Sat when AF is due and not going to tell DP this time for a few days of daily testing to see if the bean wants to stay!!

Are you feeling positive?

ps. Is UCL usual cycle length?
xx

Wow, that's a very good start to ttc hopeful I hope this one's a keeper for you. Let me know how you get on on Saturday. Fingers crossed for you xxx

Oh, UCL is usual cycle length and I'm trying v hard to stay positive...it's been a tricky day so far though!

Decaf - Add me too then since we're on similar CD days. The good news despite my AF arriving is my D21 Progesterone test showed 35.6 [it was 0.3 the previous cycle] so am so happy ovulation happened. We did SWI twice on CD 13 and CD 15 [assuming O was CD 14] but that didn't play out. So this time we're hoping to SWI a lot more .

Here are the stats for today [Babylove2 - please add to our list below]:

Just reserving a seat at the back, due on in a couple of days and still no bfp, no symptoms whatsoever either so think i will be joining you lovely ladies very shortly - just want to get on with next month now!

Thanks decafgirl. Am still getting used to the idea that we are TTC!! For example, we have booked a cottage with a hot tub in the summer which I now won't be able to use if I do get pg!! But as dh says, there will never be a "right" time, and I was finding it harder and harder to cope with the thought of having to wait until December before we could start, even though that seems to be theoretically the "ideal" time.

We had a "scare" a couple of months ago when AF was a week late, and I had convinced myslef that I was pg, but then when AF came, we were both disappointed rather than relieved, so that was the catalyst for us bringing our plans forward.

Welcome rosieposey lets hope Feb is the month for you.

Well it was 2 years ago - had my lovely DS then so fingers and everything else crossed

Moulesfrites excting times isnt it when TTC? I was very excited when DH and i made the decision this time (DS was a happy accident) Now its just a question of catching that elusive egg!

Hullo all! Have just started TTC, thought I'd jump in and say hi!

Was going to take it slowly, but MN introduced me to the wonders of fertility friend, showed me all my assumptions were wrong, and that I've completely managed to have sex at the only times this month that aren't going to result in a BFP.

Still don't think I'll make it to the eom without convincing myself I'm prg anyway.

I think this is right:

Oh this is so difficult. By starting ttc now, dc2 could be due the same sort of time as DD was so I'm planning mat leave etc round those same timings. I have to keep slapping myself to stop doing that because the chances of a result first time are so slim.

This morning (and this afternoon) not a snifter! By this time in every other pg i was testing postive by now and i know when i ov'ed so its not my lucky month - not to worry though, some AF type pains today so hopefully tomorrow or the day after then i can start all over, DH kinda enjoys the practice anyway
