Flamesparrow - stop teasing..NOW..get back to worrying about dressing gowns!

BTW, I'm almost sure I saw some in Matalan last week. I need to pop back there this week so will have a look for you. What age is your dd?

I might keep you waiting until Friday for an answer though!

Found one in Asda

Not great quality, but good enough for swimming.

hi girls! hope you don't mind me joining you. we're going to ttc in a few weeks once i've been to the doctor to ask about the medication i'm on (for my stomach).
good luck!

Hi Lilaclotus, of course we don't mind, you're more than welcome to join us.

We're not a huge bunch yet, but we are growing slowly and hoping to lose a few 'graduates' along the way! Most of us have only just started ttc (within the last month or two) and for most of us it will be No 2. Is it baby no 1 for you?

I'm sure some of the others will be along later today to say hello.

i've already got a dd (4)
i'm very eager to start, but i've got to sort out that medication first. it says not to take it when pregnant or thinking of conceiving, so...

MandM · 29/06/2005 12:15

You definitely need to speak to your docotr first then. Hope you don't have to wait too long to be able to come off the meds.

I also have a dd age 4. Is your dd starting school in September?

Welcome Lilaclotus, just wanted to wish you luck too!
On here, we all seem to have only been trying a month or two but we're already desperate.

Hiya, my dh and I are tentatively going to start ttc in the next few weeks. Have very irregular af and the advice of some other mn's is to go and be checked out by the dr. So would love to join you all once I've been, bit nervous tho as its our first!!

Hello

I am not ttc to think I am pregnant every month and get really disappointed when I find out i'm not. We are supposed to be waiting until end of this year to start trying but its killing me. I have a two year girl and I loved being pregnant and I love being a mum so I have been fighting these feelings for well over a year.

I cant wait to say I am trying ttc with my partner, right now he is like, "not yet, we need more time" if i did fall pregnant he would be ok with it but i want him to feelk as ready as me. he is just soooooooooo organised - its annoying

Good luck to everyone, are you just getting on down as much as possible or are you being using tactics like ovualation tests etc?

hi sarjon and homemama!
mandm, dd will only start school in april, it seems. she's in nursery at the moment and has been going on and on about moving to the 'big school' next door for ages.

Sorry first line should read
"i am not ttc but every month think i am pregnant..."

Hello to Sarjon and to Lovecloud.
Lovecloud- I didn't use OP kits last time as it happened first month of trying. But I'm considering them now! My DS is nearly 8mths and I haven't had AF since I stopped BF him at 6mths so I need to wait for it to appear before using a kit otherwise it'll cost me a fortune!!

I would settle for a baby any old time now... I usually post with the previously cautious crowd over on the 'beanies' thread but I could use all of the baby dust available.

Hello, been hoping someone would start a spring thread. I'm def ttc. Recently been diagnosed with PCOS so waiting for next AF to start clomid - keep staring at the box excitedly, but no idea when next AF will come. Already have ds1 - 11 months. Very excited to be on a thread - good luck everyone.

Hi - am also hoping for spring baby! Have been ttc for a year now (baby no 1) - went for 21 day bloods today - think I may have PCOS as have been reading up on it and have 95% of the symptoms...
Good luck to everyone!

Have a v sore arm as they took loads of blood - cannot think what they need it all for!!!

2 friends have announced they are pg this week - v happy for them but sad for me. Can't wait for out turn

Fingers crossed for all of us x

This is my first post on here so forgive me if I can't keep up with all the acronyms. I'm in my third cycle of trying - which I know isn't long but longer than it took with ds (who's almost 2) and as you say MandM, am already desperate. Luckily this seems to be coinciding with dh working/going out loads (well, more than me at least!) which makes conception tricky not only cos not here but also p's me right off so am in a sulk with him and don't want to anyway

Good Morning everyone!

Wow, our numbers have really swelled on this thread overnight . Hello to everyone that has just joined us and good luck to you all.

Only one more day until the big announcement FlameSparrow! I am so sad that it is even on my outlook calendar at work to remind me to check for news first thing tomorrow am! Your teasing has turned me into a stalker!

Is anyone else close to testing yet? It would be brilliant if we got some graduates this month ...fingers crossed.

I'm on CD18 today and last months cycle (my first since coming off the pill) was 33 days, so testing still seems ages off for me. I went on an extra long run last night (well, extra long for me!) so if there is a little person inside of me, they're probably suffering from motion sickness at this very moment

Morning all and a big welcome to all those who have just joined us.
Flame, I think you're making us suffer here!
Ladies, rest assured if I ever have the slightest whiff of a positive, I'll be straight on here to share it. Although at the minute I feel like AF is never going to turn up.
Avocadolover, glad I'm not the only one on here desperate for AF.
Just once, then we want it to go away til spring!
