Hi joined site while back, but been very nervous about saying hi daft i know, been trying get pregnant for over 5 years now, just finished 6 month course of clomid sadly didnt work, will start first attempt with IUI in november so keeping fingers crossed, be real nice get to know people in same situation as have not really got any friends i can to turn to about all this...feeling quite scared about it all...

Hello, lovely to see you.

We're not too scary here (most of the time) and there are some very knowledgable people who offer great support.

TTC is hideous isn't, I've spent 8 years on the TTC/pregnancy rollercoaster but have finally called it a day after being blessed to 2 beautiful DCs. Clomid didn't work for me either, although I did get pregnant with my DD on the 1st cycle after I stopped taking it and I always wondered if there was a connection.

By the time we were trying for DC2, I had a whole host of problems and ended up going down the IVF route. My little clump of cells is now 17 months old and watching CBeebies with me.

hi stevie, welcome to mn. thjere are plenty of conception threads for you to join, including an "assisted conception one" the best advice i can give is to just dive in, and if you need a rant, try the hut of gl/doom.
