Would you do another pregnancy test after a negative?

I tested 2 weeks ago as I had a very, very light period lasting only a few days with a very small amount of blood.

I tested mid day with a tesco HPT, negative.

After the small amount of bleeding stopped I had tummy cramps for about a week afterwards,

In the last week I have been absolutly knackered! Ive been going to bed at 7pm with my daughter!! and staying alseep until I have to get up for a wee (?!) This is not usual for me.

I have not got nay sickness which is key to me not testing again as I suffer from morning sickness awfully, but then again it doesn't kick in till 6/7 weeks usually?

Would you do another test?

I feel stupid even discussing this with DH as he will tell me Im being daft,

But its a niggle I cannot shake off!

To summerise:

Missed pill

Very light period lasting 2 days rather than my very heavy 7 day period I usually have,

Tummy cramps

Negative test

Cramps continue for a week,

Now 2 weeks later I am getting up to wee and am very very tired.

yes, in this case I would. As a couple of weeks have gone by it wouldn't hurt.

I got a negative one day (when I was 3 days late) and then a positive 3 days later.

I would do it just to put your mind at rest. My friend had a negative one as she tested early but then a positive one a week later.

Hiya,

well I picked one up on the way back for school it was a £1 one.

I did it and within 5 minutes there was a line, but looked like an evaporation line to me, couldn't really see any colour to it!

So I am assuming its negative as lots of people report these tests being crap and if I was regnant then even a cheapie should give a big red line by now. Right?

I think if there is a line within 5 mins then it is more likely to be a positive. What are you hoping for? I'd get a digital one to be certain.

Hope you get the result you want.

Its really not a pink line though, it just looked like a shadow where the coloured line should be, with squinting involved to see it.

But now that its dried (over an hour ago) its gone darker in the same place that i was seeing it. But I may just have really good eyesight !

I want it to be negative.

I think I'd splash out on a reliable one just to be certain. It is possible you are pregnant and your description of the test result still doesn't convince me otherwise. It might cost a bit, but it might give you peace of mind and I hope it does.
