I'm not sure it'll work for me. waiting for scan for suspected PCOS. Last cycle 56 days, one before that 36 days. The website says for cycles for up to 42 days. do you reckon it's still worth trying one?

I wouldn't. With cycles as long as yours it's going to be very difficult to identify the right days to use the test sticks. Instead try a book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler and another called "The Fertiity Plan" by David and Blakeway - latter has good stuff about PCOS you might find helpful.
