It's pricey... but then they say you'll get your money back if you don't conceive within 12 months! And I suppose, compared to the cost of fertility treatment, it's got to be worth a go, right?

Absolute bollocks. If you're having regular sex and there's nothing biologically wrong with either of you this instrument will make absolutely no difference either way.

I'm always amazed by how many people get conned in to buying this crap - same for OPKs.

Would have to agree with skihorse - I would not be wasting my hard earnt cash on something like this.

Yeah I signed up to be on the trial for it - I did some feedback on the design and stuff but it took them so long to get the trial up and running that I'd already had my baby before it turned up.

I guess if you're into temping (which I'm not) then it's great. But if you're not, then...

i think it is very bad it is being marketed as a cost effective alternative to IVF,

IVF is incredibly complex procedure and is way above this sort of thing

why is it any better than temping/charting/OPKs?

it's a v v v expensive way to chart your temp. and the premise seems to be implying it is as good as IVF or in teh same league

Actually, if you think about the numbers, they aren't taking much of a risk with the money back offer, or offering more than you would get 'naturally', are they? If statistically "about 84 per cent of couples in the general population will conceive within one year if they have unprotected, regular sex", and they're charging almost £500 for a glorified thermometer, they're on to a winner with their moneyback guarantee.

idealcamel You're 100% correct with your mathematical analysis.

I totally agree with lulumaman - it doesn't do anything except basic temps. Temps alone don't get you pregnant - unless it comes with some dried-sperm sachets? Just add water maybe?

Tbh, unless I've mis-read the gumpf and it actually cleanses my partner's sperm delivering only the very finest through my cervix, then injects me twice daily with progesterone and guarantees no miscarriage/birth defects then pfff not interested.

Big fat con.

Nothing on this earth can guarantee you a healthy baybeeee - not even IVF!
