Have been lurking during my 2ww, having bd twice slap bang in the middle of my fertile period! Have had v strong feeling that was pregnant now cd26 of fairly regular cycles and felt shocking yesterday, very tired boobs feel heavy like when was bf etc, was going to have a glass of wine tonite but the thought made me feel off! Raging headache since yesterday but maybe coffee withdrawal as normally a black coffee girl and can't face that! Anyway took a cheapy test couple of hours ago and after about five mins was a faint pink line? So convinced that I was pregnant I actually bought some folic acid when I bought the test! Lol! So dutifully informed Dp who normally needs it in confirming several times before it sinks in! But then went and stupidly bought a clearblue digital expecting it to confirm how many weeks pregnant I am! But read not pregnant! Will test again in the morning but just wondered if anyone else has exp this?!? I was always told a line was a line and why the expensive one has not picked it up?

how long is your cycle?

clearblue digital is less sensitive than the 10 mIU so might give a false neg

please do not waste your money on clearblue digital!

I had the same as you did several tescos own tests all BFP's clearblue digi said not pregnant for a good few days till it announced i was pregnant.

A line is most definately a line so long as it comes up in the time it says ie 10 minutes. Personally I would say your definately pregnant test again with first pee on a cheapie e-bay test in the morning good luck!!

and CONGRATULATIONS!!

Hi thanks for ur replies! Def feel pregnant can't believe fell for the cb digital con! Was just wanting to see it in words I think! My cycle is usually 28 -30 days so I guess fairly reg, but from a few days after dtd I just knew even though I have previously convinced myself and wasn't! I even patted my tum the other night when having a cuddle with my two year old and said guess what's in there! Weird! Hubby bought another bloody cb home ( more profit for them!) to do in the morning but also have another cheapy so will let u know! Thanks again at least I am not going mad!

Hi so did the clearblue at dp's insistance! It was not the digital one but def faint line on that and again similar faint line on the cheapy!!!! So excited could not sleep last night was like waiting for Christmas!!! Boobs are feeling sore and def funny taste along with that familiar wave of nausea! Typical timing was hopeing to get pregnant in the last twelve months but resigned myself to it not happening, so joined the gym and supposed to start a new job on Monday! Ah well such is life! X good look to everyone else on here!

It's me again! So finally yesterday got a pregnant 1-2weeks on the clearblue digital! Dp had already bought double pack from superdrug for just over £10! I had actually bought the boots own brand digital double pack for ten quid and it read negative a couple of hours before! But when I took it out of the cartridge thingy it had two lines on! Not impressed going to write to them!

Why are you going to write to them? You're on day 29 now yes? So not even late according to your normal cycle. Some tests are more sensitive than others and different women have different hcg levels. Just not sure what you're cross about. You're also not supposed to take the tests apart.

Congratulations.

Hi soh's oh iam not cross far too happy and excited for that! Just a fan of products that do what they promise! The boots digital quotes" can detect tiny amounts of hcg from the day your period is due!" And as a comparison in price to the cb forgive me for expecting too much but that is what the test failed to do! However, on removing the cartridge, which is not actually dissmantling the test as it is designed in such a way that you insert the test into the digital reader then eject to remove to use the second test, there were two blue lines??? So, my point is that it is frustrating when trying to establish confirmation having paid for something that clearly was either defective or is over exagerated in what it can actually do, I feel very justified in writing wether or not I am only on day 29 of my cycle, to me a Detecting a tiny amount of hcg from the day when your period is due, clearly is a false statement. And I think the general consensus Reading these forums are that we generally all pay extortionate amounts of money on tests that repeatedly fail to deliver purely because they use words like, can and
may, and 99.9 per cent! And how much can these things cost to produce in the first place!

Aah but if you sometimes have a 30 day cycle then that could be tomorrow so technically you're testing early in that scenario and the tiny amount of hcg it detects might be more than the hcg you have in your system at the moment. So their claims still stand.

Yes they're canny and annoying and make a fortune but they've done nowt wrong. Feckers the lot of them praying on the desperation of broody women . Enjoy the fact that you've weed all over their product and forget about it.

Well done, it's lovely when you're newly pregnant after wanting it so badly. I'm pleased for you.

There are always 2 blue lines on the clearblue digital: www.peeonastick.com/hpt/digitalsecret.html

The site has lots, possibly far too much, information on stuff like this.

All the best!
