Have just tested using a clear blue and the vertical stipe is very strong while the horizontal is much fainter. Is this still a BFP?

YES!!!!
Congratulations!

Unless.... of course you're not happy to get a BFP?

Absolutely ecstatic! We were supposed to be going to the fertility clinic at the local hospital in the middle of June as things had not gone to plan over the last 17 months. Looks like junior thought that a little extra help would not be necessary!

Well done Fonzie, you deserve it after 17 months. Been trying for 14 months, well only 3 momths actively trying using opks and temps, other 11 were just left to chance. We are due to see a specialist in July so hope I can do what you have done and not need it! Really happy for you.

Hi Bev, we were in a similar situation and eventually a GP friend recommended OPKs. I think that and Toni Weschler's book and lots of BDing at the right time seem to have done the trick. Hope things work out well for you too. Now all I have to do is to stay calm with DS1 who is turning into a toad today!

Huge congrats fonzie! We were ttc for 2 yrs before our positive in Feb. My line was very feint too, even after the 2nd test 1 day later but it was definitely a positive! Well done you and good luck for an uneventful and calm pg. X

Congrats, Fonzie! Bet you're absolutely over the moon... great stuff. My clearblue line was faint too but as doc said, a line's a line!

Fonzie
I am using opks for the last three months and I have heard a lot of good things about that book so really must try and get hold of a copy.
I already have a dd of 11 but desperately want a baby with my new partner. I think stressing about it isnt helping. Hope it is not too long before I get a pg.
Bev
