Must run to a meeting, but am hoping talking about it might make me come on! Wearing white knickers usually does the trick, but not this time.....

Ok, more info: am regular as clockwork, have only ever been this late once before.... hence ds! God, what if I'm pregnant? What if I'm not and I have been chatting to a non-existent being all day!?!

Bouj-not sure what to put as you don't seem to know whether you will be happy or not. I really want to say Congratulations.

Am in that frame of mind 'don't be silly, bouj, it was one night (admittedly in middle of cycle)and not proper (iykwim!!), you won't be pregnant'... But then the fact remains, I am late!! We had planned to start trying when we move house (end of next week), so it wouldn't be bad, just a bloody shock that I am that fertile! I have been looking for signs in everything all day (am in Australia btw!) from counting pregnant women to accidently flinging a tampon at someone....

lol Bouj! TEST!!!!!!

My dd is the result of a half heart bit of action one night mid cycle.... and my DH withdrew at the crucial moment!! It was the one and only time that month we went near each other (so sad)!

Yes test - we could use some more people on our Feb 06 ante natal thread (assuming you'd be due Feb and not Jan?)!

Do a test - you know it makes sense. I had a thread yesterday called "Anyone had a negative pregnancy test but were really pregnant?" I did my third test yesterday and been to the drs today - I have now joined the Jan/Feb threads. Come on Tabs is getting lonely!

Bloody hell Toothache, thats exactly what happened to me! Will have to test on the weekend I think as am fairly sure DH will want to be involved in this one (with ds, I rang him at work and told him - not hugely memorable) and besides, that will be a week overdue. would be quite lovely, actually.....

You can't just drop a piece of info like that and expect us to wait. For the love of all that's decent......do the test!!!

then post and tell us. I'm not allowed to be stressed, my BP is far too high! C'mon woman.

been a few of these recently. I think there should be a topic called 'Could I be pregnant' with live real time pregancy test.

that would be brilliant!

webcams too?

..... waiting in anticipation Bouj

Well if your DH can't be bothered to follow you around all day and night in case you want to test, then it's his fault if he's not involved! You can always test and not tell him the result, then test again at the weekend so that he feels involved!

I don't think men actually place quite the importance on the whole thing as us! I'm sure he won't mind!

Crikey, sorry! Yes, had to watch ER and go to sleep. But did the test, and ho hum, it is negative... But saying that I had 3 negatives before a positive with ds, so we will see! I am at the moment placing more faith in my cycle - that has never been wrong! Told dh last night as we were almost asleep that I might be pregnant, and i was going to do a test. He gave a dramatic sigh, and said 'ok dear'.. Now, I know I am CERTAIN every month I am pregnant, but this time is different..... So I tested without him, and then didn't tell him the result for fear of told you so!
