I'm now offically fed up with the whole TTC thing and even though I say "I'm not getting obsessed this month, i'm going to "just see what happens" I still end up obsessively symptom spotting and disappointed

ok i have put the stats into an easier list.....i totally echo what you feel diamond my stress levels were so high last month and i was soooo devastated to come on on sunday i felt sick and shaky. like miscarrying all over again....

really want to try and be calmer this month....am seeing acupuncturist on monday to get some stress relief....all self imposed stress...TTC is really hard.

This is first baby with my new husband and had no idea about conceiving last 2 times as happened immediately.....

hope you are all good at holding hands!!!

The medics so say that we shouldn't use OPKs, temp, time bd and all the rest of it but, heck, it's fun!

Morning all!

Been to the drs this morning (unrelated) and told him I had come off bc (was worried) but he was so supportive

Feeling quite positive today, have ordered ovulation kits and a basal thermometer so any tips would be welcome.

Lingo guide:

CD = cycle day
UCL = usual cycle length
dpo = days past ovulation
EWCM = egg white cervical mucus
CBFM = ClearBlue Fertility Monitor
OPK = ovulation predictor kit
af = auntie flow
TTC = trying to conceive
BFP = big fat positive
BFN = big fat negative

Hello all. Could I join you please?

We began TTC in June, actually got a BFP but unfortunately I didn't stick. Doctor said ok to try again immediately, so fingers crossed, although I think I haven't ovulated this month.

Lucy, I think the acronyms are as follows:

TTC: trying to conceive
UCL: usual cycle length
CD#: day in cycle

There's also a list of acronyms tab at the top of the page.

Hi Lucy. CD means cycle day, so how many days after the first day of your last period.

im on CD25 and im ovulating now which is really late so im a bit worried

not sure when AF will turn up - i suppose 14 days from now , unless i have a really short luteal phase and af comes 6/8 which is when it was supposed to be , but ovulated late so who knows
very confused

lisa oh you poor thing , losing a baby at 22wks must be incredibly tough, I can't imagine. I hope this bus is going to be lucky for you.
