this is our last month of clomid and this week is the week. dh has fecking swine flu. last month we had a tummy bug, month before that i had food poisoning.

He's in bed at the mo, moaning and suffering, while Im being wholly unreasonable and seething "it's now CD11, we missed CD10 and CD15 (my usual ov day) is saturday. when its my lil sis's leaving party.

there seem to be forces working against us all the time.

its hard not to get paranoid after all this time.

Turkey baster required?

And shagging at that party obviously.

Lots of luck anyway

Oh I hear you - swine flu struck this household last week and you can be sure it will be the one month I ov early. Bedroom antics are not high on my agenda at the moment but clomid induced paranoia insists that I can't just 'let this month go'...

Hope you can convince DH to 'perform' - just dose him up on Tamiflu and paracetamol and he'll be fine. Failing that you may have to do as Northernlurker suggests and try the turkey baster.....

Take care x

Shit, just re-read my post and think it sounds a little flippant - I genuinely do wish you the best of luck.

lol thanks. went to pick up dh's tamiflu and found myself telling the woman in the centre about it. not feeling too great myself, but needs must (turkey baster sounds good - it worked for violet off corrie )

does it make me a bad wife to demand that he performs whilst ill?

Turkey baster worked for us when we didn't want to dtd with friends in the next room

Wasn't actually a turkey baster, but similar.

Not at all. I conceived DS while DH had chicken pox as I simply couldn't miss that week and everyone is very happy with the results!

This thread is a total affirmation of the fact that it's where you're going that matters, NOT how you get there!

I read this thread last night and it made me giggle. Then my hubby burnt his hand on day 11 of my cycle and I had to ensure I got my wicked way. Poor hubby he was suffering with his hand.

Lissie - that sucks. I hope that you get him sorted. FWIW, everyone I know who has had Tamiflu has been a lot better after 24hours.

On a lighter note - remind me to never to eat turkey at your house.
