Bit confused about my due date - can you help?

Really confused, I thought I was 12 weeks pregnant yesterday but had my scan and I am actually 13 weeks today.

• My periods are 28 days
• I had my last period 28th April
• I normally ovualate around day 14 (used persona for quite awhile)

I used many due date calculators and they all gave me 2nd Feb. My gp also gave me this date.

I know the scans give a more accurate due date and yesterday the scan said 12+6 days. So this means I ovulated a week earlier than normal.

The weird thing is I didnt have sex then, I know all the days I had sex that month as I had just ran the marathon and was tired and busy with college so it was the last thing on my mind

So its not possible I conceived before the week that I thought I did.

Do you think this means the baby could just be BIG? - YIKES!

I think I read somewhere that the scan sizes are taken from hundreds of babies to create an average so you could just have a big baby at the moment. Don't worry though as a big baby now won't necessarily mean a big baby at the end and either way it's miraculous what the female body can do. Good luck.

Don't worry too much about weight gain either. Concentrate on eating good nutitios food and your body will do the rest. Remember few women go into labour on their EDD anyway so 6 days won't really make much difference. Good luck.
