I have been awake since 4am. Fingers crossed.

My best friend has recently had IVF and has to do her pregnancy test today. Her first course of IVF was abandoned earlier on in the year as her follicles produced not enough eggs. She was devastated,but tried again, this time with stronger medication.

Earlier on this month, she had 19 eggs retrieved, 13 fertilised, two put back in.

She has been a nervous wreck for the past few days. I have been awake thinking about her and just willing my phone to ring with good news.

God only knows how she and her DH are feeling.

YES!!!!!!!

3 BFP's this morning.

she did a test at 5am this morning which gave a very, very faint line- which she didn't want to read as positive so sent her DH out to get three different tests. Got three Big Juicy Lines!

Im so happy for them both.

She started bleeding last night

not good. Im gutted for both of them.

IM hanging on to some hope that she is still pregnant, but it doesnt look good.

Life is so fucking unfair isnt it?

How can you go from being on top of the world after months and months of emotional/mental stress- only to have it literally ripped away within 24 hours???

Oh I'm so sorry for your friend, I will keep all my fingers crossed for her. Life really is completely unfair sometimes.
