Hi everyone
I am TTC after 2 miscarriages and queue one long drawn out week of smyptom spotting. I keep trying to bang my boobs off things to see if they hurt!! Think I have tingly nipples but it comes and goes so I don't know what to think. Also I have been taking aspirin to help with the miscarriages and I am worried it will stop a bean from sticking!! you would think I would be a pro by now at this! Anyone else want to join me so we can try and keep each other sane and away from the First Response sticks? xx

Hi ozbride, sorry to hear of your losses. Fingers crossed for you this time.

I'm also on the 2ww - af should be due 27th June but hoping she won't arrive. I'm feeling much of my PMT symptoms at the moment, tender breasts, cramping and headaches but these don't usually appear this early so I'm wondering if this is positive. Past few days I've been yawning away which is unusual.

What symptoms are you having?

sonsmum Fri 19-Jun-09 14:46:24

I too am symptom spotting....AF due on 26th or 27th june...i am charting and using OPKs so know we bd'd close to ovulation. This is my 1st month of TTC #2. With #1, AFs were all over the place so had no idea when to BD and think getting preggers was just down to luck not knowledge last time. Also with #1 i didn't know much about the 2ww as was never really sure when i Ov'd, and took a preg test quite late on (but what a great feeling it was to get a positive result). After stopped BF #1, AFs returned regular, and now i have so much more knowledge of fertility/ started charting this month as is first month of trying for #2.....I didn't have the dreaded 2ww for #1 but i am for sure feeling it for TTC for #2.....the days go by so slow, i keep looking at my temps willing them to stay high, analysing every twinge, willing boobs to get bigger and tummy to feel a little bloated.....but i know i must wait to test....if we have success this month then i will know eventually, but if i test too soon, i face disappointment.
I am an optomist so am currently convinced I am implanting anyday! i am impatient so the thought so starting again next month is i am 35 and all the headlines on fertility lately are depressing. Also it took us 6mnths to conceive #1 so can't believe i would get lucky on my 1st attempt this time.
Good luck to you and I'll keep you posted end of the month, trying not to obsess and be on here every day!

Can I join in. I am ttc #3. We have been half-heartedly trying for about a year but are now seriously going for it!!

AF is due on the 25th - didn't get a positive ov test this month but am pretty sure that I ov'd as I was charting temp etc. Also having acupuncture for irregular periods.

The only thing I have noticed so far is a low abdominal ache for the last 2 days, far too soon to be af, so don't know what it could be.

Good luck everyone.

Hi all,

Been to the doctors this morning after having backache all week with a developing rash. Turns out I have shingles which would account for a lot of my symptoms

Didn't have any symptoms last time around - we ended up getting pregnant on honeymoon so this is the first time we have actively tried to conceive. It's amazing how much thought time it's taking up!

Fingers crossed for everyone this month!

sonsmum Sat 20-Jun-09 15:46:26

good grief....shingles.....I hope you do not have it too badly.....I never had chicken pox as a child so shingles is a worry of mine. Hope you are better soon!

tostaky Sat 20-Jun-09 19:52:01

AF is due on the 24th too... i had plenty of symptoms... but they all went away with my cold sad
i doubt im pregnant because we didnt BD everyday i was fertile...
i cant help but test everyday... and i get BFNshmm

ozbride Sun 21-Jun-09 10:53:48

*Wee Tiger* - shingles that is awful! I hope you are starting to feel better? You are right, it takes up so much thought time, I think I might be slightly obsessed but I will never admit it blush I have very tingley nipples which I think is a good sign and this morning I got up and my breasts feel very heavey and sore so I am hoping for the best and for third time lucky!!

Sonsmum - I am really hoping it all goes ok for you. 35 Isn't old, you are still a spring chicked wink grin

greenbeanie - The first time I was pregnant I got that low ache. is it like a feeling of fullness? If so - good sign!!

totasky - Stay strong and step away from the pee sticks!!! Sperm can live in you for up to four days so try not to worry too much about not trying every day. I have my firngers crossed for you.

Not long now till we find out!!

Dalrymps Sun 21-Jun-09 11:02:49

Weetiger - So sorry you've got the shingles sad Hope they go away soon!

I'll join in here too, 7th month TTC #2. AF due 26th.

So far I have had a little tiredness and according to my dh my breasts look bigger grin, they feel slightly tender, I keep poking at them to check. Hmm, no concrete evidence yet really!

Beanmum Sun 21-Jun-09 12:08:11

Yes! Af due 25th and last week had nausea, twinges in abdomen and dizziness... Have just developed a cold, so worried some symptoms might be down to that, but haven't given up hope as still have sporadic nausea and aversion to coffee (generally a caffeine addict). Second month of ttc No 2 - ds was unplanned, so haven't been through this process before... Trying hard not to obsess throughout the TTW and hold out til the end of the week to test!

Fingers crossed ozbride + everyone!

greenbeanie Sun 21-Jun-09 19:21:42

Hi Ozbride, yes it is a low achey feeling of fullness. I have also been feeling a little nauseous but ds2 has a tummy bug so it could well be that!!

Good luck everyone, lets hope there are lots of BFP's on this thread. grin

papoushado Mon 22-Jun-09 12:58:48

Oh hello, can I join in too? THANK GOD I've found you, I am going out of my mind. I'm in my 2WW after our 7th insemination treatment. If this doesn't work, next stop is IVF!

Since the insemination last week I've been thinking about my pelvis so much that it seems to have had a constant ache. I have been really zonked too.

However, on the HELLO YOUR PERIOD'S COMING! side of the fence I've had a few spots, been irritable and (ahem) the usual windy factor...

I'll know by the weekend.

Good luck to everyone!

sonsmum Mon 22-Jun-09 19:39:45

so much for not obsessing....I'm on here again!!....however had some major symptoms temp showed a dip this morning plus had some spotting during the day....I am 9 or 10 DPO...really convinced this is implantation, but trying to be diplomatic. Think I will know much more tomorrow....willing that temp to rise again!!
Hang in there everyone - stay off those first response sticks a few days longer!!!

Beanmum Mon 22-Jun-09 20:05:04

Oh, sounds promising, sonsmum...

I have managed to get through another day without testing (don't want to try til Friday), but the not obsessing part is really not working out. blush

Dalrymps Mon 22-Jun-09 21:27:54

Argh! So close to testing today, far too early. Want to wait till sat morn ideally. HAve even considered using the opks I have as pg tests today...

Only symptom to far, slightly tender/enlarged breasts. I so hope this is a sign!!!

greenbeanie Tue 23-Jun-09 09:38:48

So impressed that everyone is holding off testing. I'm afraid I succumbed and got a BFN, af due on thursday.

Still got low abdo ache and occasional waves of nausea...

Why do the 2 weeks go so slowly.

Good luck everyone.

Dalrymps Tue 23-Jun-09 11:11:46

Greenbeanie - Hope it's just too early to tell, theres still chance of a bfp yet smile

I also succumbed grin. Did a test with FMU today and after 10 mins got a faint line. Not sure what to think though cause test instructions said not to read result after 10 mins (it could have developed earlier than that but I went away and came back).

Gonna buy some cheapies and test again tomorrow I think smile

greenbeanie Tue 23-Jun-09 11:27:28

Dalrymps, sounds very likely that you will get your BFP soon. Congratulations smile

Dalrymps Tue 23-Jun-09 11:42:05

Eek, I really hope so. Trying not to get my hopes up cause i'll be so sad if i'm not.

sonsmum Tue 23-Jun-09 20:00:56

wow dalrymps...sounds pretty promising...if you test tomorrow, the line should be darker...fingers crossed.

I am due af same time as you, so you are making me think there is a chance i could get a faint line if I have hit the jackpot this month....however I did promise myself I would stay away until saturday at the earliest.

after my excitement yesterday I have no lasting symptoms anymore, apart from the high temps, so that alone gives me hope!

ozbride - you started this thread....are you testing tomorrow? fingers crossed!!!

Dalrymps Tue 23-Jun-09 21:25:51

Did a cheapy, very faint line within the 5 mins smile

Will test agian in the morning eek!

Dalrymps Wed 24-Jun-09 07:50:53

Did another cheapie test this morning. It came up with a very faint line within the 5 mintute limit. No darker than the line I got on the one last night though, will have to wait and see I guess!<hopeful>

WeeTiger Wed 24-Jun-09 09:37:41

Good luck today ozbride, everything is crossed for you

Beanmum Wed 24-Jun-09 23:03:13

sounds v positive, dalrymps - fingers crossed another stronger line tomorrow! good luck to everyone else testing this week.

af got me yesterday (2 days early, CD 23 - the witch!) was v debounced at the time, but back on track today. wonder if the 'symptoms' were entirely in my head, or if it was another chemical pg. hmmm hmm

Dalrymps Wed 24-Jun-09 23:13:41

Thanks Beanmum...

So sorry AF got you, glad to hear your back on track, this month cold be your month smile
