I've got implant - had it for about 5 months. Periods a bit patchy but I have PCOS so nothing new there. Otherwise I've never had any problem with it and find being able to feel it in my arm very reassuring that I am not going to get pregnant again EVER!!!!! Not had any problem with weight gain -PCOS does make me prone to piling on the pounds -although obviously not as serious as underactive thyroid. I don't know anyone else who has one so can't give you any other opinions but i'm really happy with it.

Have had implant since november. Am a little lardy but that is got nothing to do with the implant and everything to do with cake . Periods have stopped completely and i like the fact that i have to take no responsibility/remember to do anything in because i am a little scatty.

I've had the implant for about 6 months. No periods but I never had them before either as I was on the injection. I havent gained any weight since being on it. My doctor did say to try it and he would be happy to take it out if it didn't agree with me.

When I went to have the implant I asked about the weight thing. I was told that 'I' ate the cake not the implant so answer was don't eat.................. lol
