Hi am in a total stress as there is a tiny line I think - more at the top - but I can see it if I hold it up to the light. Is this it?!!? Need to have ten million people check it. We are at a garden party and popped home for dd's nap and couldn't resist test. Wish it was first wee now!!!Aargh!!!! Dragged dh home and he says he thinks it is but do I believe him?

We need a picture! grin Hope so

BigFatNegative Sun 31-May-09 15:18:26

It was for me! Hardly visible but there all the same and it appeared after 5 mins! Good luck!

Thats incredibly exciting!

A line is a line, there wouldn't be any hint of a line if was no pregnancy hormone there.

If you're still unsure, do another test?

tried a picture but doesn't reflect well! will have to wait for tomorrow with it being sun then might have to wait til first wee on tuesday. The agony!!!
Like your optimism though girls - thanksgrin

BigFatNegative Sun 31-May-09 18:08:42

A false positive is virtually unheard of however a false negative is more common. HTH.

Well my incredibly faint line is now my eight month old boy!

TheBreastmilksOnMe Sun 31-May-09 18:12:17

My nearly invisible line is now my 8mth old DS too and the negative result I got from the expensive digital one was sooo wrong.

SamVimesIsMyHero Sun 31-May-09 18:13:10

Yep, my faint line is now a grubby faced 4yr old, congratulations!smile

ccpink Sun 31-May-09 18:19:27

Loving these messages! Can't quite believe it though!

DarrellRivers Sun 31-May-09 18:32:51

take the strip out and photo it , to reduce the reflection
Sounds promising though

SamVimesIsMyHero Mon 01-Jun-09 08:14:49

So...did you do a morning wee on a stick???!!

verysadmummy Mon 01-Jun-09 08:32:33

Any doubt buy a digital one, but it sounds like congratulations are in order

ccpink Mon 01-Jun-09 12:35:55

bought another and negative - though not first wee. Think I'm grasping at straws. Can still defo see something on the first one though. Will do one tomorrow first wee but feeling very negative! I even thought I felt sick this morn!

SamVimesIsMyHero Mon 01-Jun-09 12:42:37

Oh pants sad Was it a sensitive test? How overdue are you?

ccpink Mon 01-Jun-09 12:44:37

hi sam - it was a clearblue so I guess sensitive - though did say best to do first wee. The first one I did was a sainsburys though. Last month I had a 31 day cycle so only one day late but late! sad

Kaylo Mon 01-Jun-09 12:49:41

Awwwww poop!!

I wanted so much for it to be a BFP for you

Def do another one.
Try not to feel so negative a down about's gonna happen honey. It will, if not this month then maybe next month.

Please keep smiling

SamVimesIsMyHero Mon 01-Jun-09 12:49:44

Well there is still hope, it is unusual to get a false positive. I would wait a couple of days and test again if your period hasn't arrived with maybe a digital one or a first response. (actually what I would actually do is buy another test, probably test tonight and again tomorrow morning because I have absolutely NO patience, but in reality that isn't what you should do blush smile)

Oh and put the test on top of your loo so you make sure you get the first wee next time <stern stare>.

Hope you do get a positive, if you don't then just think another month off morning sickness and you and dh can have fun practising for next month smile

ccpink Mon 01-Jun-09 12:53:46

Thanks you two - I was torn in the shop between clear blue and first response and now regret my decision. I will hold out til tommorow. Sam - I am just like you - did a cheapo one too - just to check!!!Both negative. Will do first wee it's just that with it being Sunday I couldn't get one and I couldn't get to the shop without wee'ing!!!
You guys keep me smiling.

TheBreastmilksOnMe Mon 01-Jun-09 19:04:32

I bought a clearblue and it gave me a wrong result even though it said it can give a result before your period is due. It was the cheaper Boots own brand that gave me the correct result. So just be aware!

SamVimesIsMyHero Tue 02-Jun-09 19:47:14

Any news today cc? I'm guessing if it had been a BFP you would have been on here. Hope you are ok.

ccpink Tue 02-Jun-09 19:50:22

I like your vibe breastmilk but neg again this morning. Still no af though?!?! God knows - booked to see the doc fri as don't know what else to do. Belly is hard and bloated, boobs are hurting and knackered so maybe the witch is on her way but wish she would just hurry up. This is day 33 for god's sake - she must have been held up?!?!? angry

SamVimesIsMyHero Tue 02-Jun-09 19:55:39

Weird. I think docs is a good idea, maybe they can put your mind at rest if nothing else and they might do a test too which will save you £9 wink Good luck (and report back!)smile
