Quick question, have been ttc for 4 months with no luck (af arrived today - ) So to cheer myself up have but an ovulation predictor kit.

Have read the instructions but am unsure whether I need to use one every day for 5 days? I have a very regular 29 day cycle so according to instructions start on day 12 so do I just carry on using them until something happens? Dh has just pointed out how they're a waste of money as we "tried"(!) every day last month between days 12 and 16 but no luck. Has anyone used them and had success?

anchovies - on the ttc thread we are all totally addicted to peeing on those little sticks, LOL! yes they do help but you really need to keep a check on your cervical mucus as well as that is the best indicator of when to try. if you dont want to waste too many sticks i would suggest starting to test when you see fertile CM (which is clear and stretchy).

HTH.

check out fertilityfriend.com for advice on when to start using OPK's, very helpful.

sounds bizarre - but it seems to work (!) try a glass of grapefruit juice each morning after AF up until CD16 or so - it really increases your CM.

worked for me and several others anyhow
