Hi all.

Needing some extra support this time round as have just had a MC. We are trying again straight away. But I've a feeling it's going to take ages. Got pregnant first month trying last 2 times. I have 1 DC- 11 months.

I want some people to join this thread who are ready to hold hands and help each other through the TTC.

Can i join? I had a MC in Feb and have had 2 cycles since. We are still ttc and am currently on cd19. I have 2 dc already and i fell pg first month trying with both of them. This time its taking alot longer, 6 months and 1 MC later we are still at it

I've no idea what CD I am as I haven't had a proper period yet. This TTC lark is a lot more stressful than I thought!

Hey Mumofbaby and Bybblebell, I'd love to join too. I miscarried in February and have been ttc ever since. Very worried as my cycle seems to be all over the place, keep having random bleeding mid cycle and worried I'm not ovulating. Stupidly keep buying pregnancy tests though to, should really save my money!

How have you found your cycles since the MC? Would love to share the jounrey of ttc with others, so thanks for starting this thread mumofbaby

Hi I miscarried in August last year - mmc AF semed to go back to normal but then went totally funny after flu at Christmas. I'd been trying to get pregnant for 18 months before that, so was pretty upset afterwards - been trying every since.

Mumofbaby - my Dh found the mc very stressful and upsetting as he felt he couldn't talk about it. He took a few months to get over it and some very serious discussions late at night about how we felt.

There's a special thread englebert to refrain from testing early. I've linked it below - and we're a friendly bunch on there.

i have had my 4th MC tuesday this week i have been TTC since october 2007 for baby number 2 as i have got a DD who is 3. i am TTC straight away but i have some tests this cycle so may not be in a good TTC position yet
i will quite gladly hold your hand through the long haul

My midwife told me to think of it as a sign that everything is working properly and ovulation is happening. So we do have hope despite our losses, ladies!

Liskey- I think it's the same with DP< he thinks he should be strong and not show his emotions and he's really upset. I don't think he'll be over it until we concieve again.

I wanted to kill the chap who did the scan who said something similar to me - he said "shows you can get pregnant"!!!! He didn't have a clue it had taken me 18 months to conceive - still riles me when i think of that.

Keep talking to your DP - and try and get him to talk about he feels - my Dh was worried about upsettign me further but I was more upset he wasn't talking about it at all.

can I join? I had 3rd mc since sept 08 last week

Its awful but i have found hope in the fact that i will now get a referral for some help. Also seeing homeopath.

It is onlyy dd (3.5) and ds (2) who are keeping me going with the knowledge that we are so lucky already...(although other people telling me that constantly does not help at all)

i did find comfort in a way in the fact we could conceive as we had no idea if dh was ok or not due to his medical past

Liskey - Thanks for the link, I may pop by very soon... Even though I started bleeding on Wednesday (for a couple of hours and then it stopped, what's that about? I have lots of stomach pains and cramps so expecting AF any day soon BUT I had to stop myself using a first response today! Sometimes I think if I stare at the test stick hard enough I can wish the extra line!

SmilingEi and all the other ladies who've had several miscarriages, so sorry . I can't imagine how hard it must be to go through this more than once. I keep thinking about my due date, every day. It doesn't get any easier.

engelbart - I've found it a bit easier now i'm past the day I was due but it was a real struggle till then - i got very depressed about it. My work offer a telephone couselling service which helped - and the miscarriahe association have volunteers to talk to I believe. Talking to someone neutral can help - family and friends love you so can't be that bit detached.

Sorry to hear about those who've gone through the horrific experience more than once - that must be awful .

Im so sorry for all of you. It is an awful thing to experience especially if its happened more than once.

Engelbert My cycles have been wierd since the mc. First cycle came 4 days early and the second i had some wierd spotting for a few days before af set in. (for the first time in my life.)This time i dont think ive even ovd. I have a day 21 test today so going back to the dr next wk for some advice and the results.

Gizzy I hope your lucky this month! wouldnt it be lovely if you fell pg again straight away. fingers crossed for you.

Liskey What an arsehole! It makes me wonder if they go to a school to learn to be completely insensitive!!!

Good morning ladies, How is everyone?

Had to stop myself testing today, AF due but now that my cycle is so messed up god knows when it thinks it should turn up! Wondering whether to see my gp- think I will wait and see what happens in the next few weeks...

I just hope I can resist not testing today...

Is anyone else waiting for AF so we can have a virtual hand holding.

Hi Bubblebell, wasn't able to resist testing and of course it was a BFN and no sign of AF. Had terrible cramps yesterday, really awful pains but today nothing. Have been walking around with a sanitary towel stuffed in my knickers in anticipation. My last couple of AFs have been horrendous- really heavy bleeding so worried sick period will start and I'll be walking round with blood dripping. This happened to me last month (luckily it was at my mums, but still...). Has your AF turned up and if not when do you think you will test?

engel my AF is due next sun. I will test monday if she hasnt shown up. I am not even sure if ive ovd this cycle. I had a scan on day 15 and she said she could see a collapsed follicle but i didnt get temp rise so who knows... i just hope af doesnt go awol.

Fingers crossed it was too early for you and a bfp is just around the corner

I was hoping it would say 3+ weeks and there'd been a mistake and I was still preg. No such luck. I don't think I've ovulated this month- would I be likely to after MC?

Hi, can I join too? Am still in theory still miscarrying but just want to get on with ttc straight away. It was my second although not one after the other. I have two dc, one ds and one dd. It has taken me months to persuade dh to try for number 3 and I got pregnant straight away but was obviously not to be. Still v about it though.

Sorry to hear about everyone else's miscarriages. They suck, they really do.
