First off love and hugs to all. Although I wouldn't say I'm an idiot, you guys definately have your own little club and I feel a little left out of this....

Okay, so I've got a handle on these basics and even smugly managed to work out a few on my own (including OV not on the list) but could I get a little help here with these others that I've seen?

EWCM, LP, DC3, CD1, CM, BT, OPK, HCG, PCOS, HPT, LHsurge, WWYD, 2WW (Honestly WTH Ladies?envy)

Thank-you guys in advance with helping me and my DH (?!is that right?) to satisfy the hungry emotional monster that my biological clock has become. grin

Neeko Sun 05-Jul-09 22:03:42

Not sure of them all...
EWCM= egg white cervical mucus [the good stuff]
LP = Lunar phase?
DC3= darling child 3

CD1 = cycle day 1

CM= cervical mucus

BT= basal thermometer?

OPK = ovulation prediction kit

HCG = the pregnancy hormone

PCOS= polycystic ovarian syndrome

HPT= home pregnancy test

LH surge = the hormone that surges to give you a positive OPK and suggest that you're about to ovulate

WWYD= what would you do

2WW= 2 week wait (the time between ovulation and period)

Feel like I've just sat a test.
HTH (Hope that helps)

Wonderful, thanks! grin

AttilaTheMeerkat Tue 07-Jul-09 09:26:18

LP - luteal phase. You will see references also to LPD which is short for luteal phase defect.

Neeko Tue 07-Jul-09 17:49:25

Oops. blush Knew I had that wrong! grin
