Have just had a VERY faint line on my boots test!
Same thing happened xmas day but with a Sainsbury's one, obviously devastated when I wasn't pregnant. Have since found out lots of people had same problem with Sainsbury's. Anyone had this with the Boots tests?
I have no regular cycle - in fact I've had no AF since November. Dr says I'm not OV and may have PCOs

Can you get a clearblue digital, you will have a definite answer.

Best wishes.

Thanks PR, I'll make that my next step - just thought I should wait a few days before I test again as it was faint but worried about getting all excited in the meantime.
I'm getting abdominal pains too which are not helping the worry!

Depends really how faint the line is, if it is pink and there wherever you point the light then its a bfp. If it is feint where you have to hold it up to certain lights etcs then it is bfn. I have used loads of boots tests and IMO a bfp with a boots test is quite obvious, if you have to tilt and squint it is likely to be a bfn.

I've had a false positive with a Sainsburys test recently - on Xmas Eve.

As for Boots tests - I remember doing one in Sept mid afternoon and got such a faint line that I really wasn't sure - even dismantled the test to get a proper look . Lot patience and used my fancy pants Clearblue Digi with Conception indicator soon after and got "pregnant 1 - 2"

Good luck !
