if I could put in an order as well please? I'd like one little one, (two if there's two on offer) good, small babies, who rearly cry and sleep thru the night. also one's who don't do many smelly poops! also cheap to maintain! lol.

(I know I can wish!) at this rate I'd be happy with anything i'm not fussy!

A new thread - HOORAH!!!!!!!
ok a refresh:

ttc no. 1
cycle 3 (after m/c Jan 05)
CD21
uses persona and anything else I can lay my hands on!

Ok I would like to place my order please, a baby for 2005! I am a little impatient and also if it sways the distribution at all, its my birthday this month so would be a great double present!!

Right have managed to shake of the negativity of yesterday, had a little weep (only a little one)last night round at my friend's and instantly felt a lot better.
Woke up this morning and did a pregnancy test ...I am only on CD21 so this was of course complete barking madness, so no shock it was a BFN.... but seem to have satisfied my fix.

Ladies - come on now for April, we need another graduate.....babydust for everyone

Will be testing a week today, not very hopefull this month but hey ho !!
What is ICSI ?

Report
cobwebs · 01/04/2005 12:41

icsi is a bit like IVF, but they tke just one sperm and put it into the egg. They do it when the egg and sperm are not mixing properly and therefore don't develop into embryos. Honestly if i thought about the success rate percentages too much i would give up.I just have to keep thinking that if we don't try it will never happen. Chances are really slim though.Have to distract myself from the realities with hours on Mumsnet.

Report
Bella23 · 01/04/2005 12:57

Distraction is sooo the key! Sounds to me like you are very determined, will be wishing you lots of good luck that you are successful very soon.
I think like everything if you concentrate on the statistics they drive you nuts and you wonder how anybody ever manages to have a baby!
I hope this thread helps.....

a big welcome to cobwebs - same age as me -
agree with bella that you should be up there on the priority list

hi nemo - ooooh this sounds hopeful, everything crossed for you hon

wendy really hope this cycle is the one for you too - i noticed you asked some question about temping charts on another thread - you can view all pregnancy charts on fertility friend when you are temping, it is quite interesting for comparisons. anyone else use fertility friend here?

yes bella, you are soooo right about statistics - DONT READ THEM! ever! as you all know from previous thread i get drawn to them like a moth to a flame

LOL george - i loved the bit on your stats about "willingness of d/p". i put some chocolate on d/h's pillow the other night - just to be cute... and guess what he does.. looks at me suspiciously and says "so what do you want?" !!!

this is what ttc'ing does to relationships! AND i was only on CD6 so there was absolutely no agenda, honest guv!

Ooh, busy morning. I've been out shopping so missing all the fun.

Cobwebs, welcome to the thread. I'm so sorry that you have had such a rough time .
I do hope that this month works it's spell on you. I believe the order is in the system so it's really just a case of waiting for delivery now! .

PMSL at Rom & your choccy for DH.
About 30 minutes ago I bought my DP a massage kit - do you think that he will see through that one??? What is happening to us? Isn't it supposed to be the other way round with men chasing us for sex? We seem to have changed from cautious to desperate TTCers!

I use fertility friend and it is giving me a yellow fertility sign today so have gone out & bought more OPKs. My temp goes up & down like a yo-yo and it keeps telling me I've ovulated, then changes its mind - I can't keep up!

Bella, so glad you are feeling better today. Sorry about the BFN but I think you may just be a little early!! Amazing how much better you can feel by weeing on a stick though isn't it?

Report
Nemo1977 · 01/04/2005 14:52

i agree with the weeing on a stick fix..i used one of my opks yesterday just to check that i wasnt still oving and that the smiley i got on mon was a proper one
george deffo agree that we have turned into hardened ttc ers lol
