i've been using persona for 5 months now, and every month it says I ovulate, would I be being premature to assume that I do infact OV each month and I have no fertility issues? or could the persona be inaccurate? I'm a bit worried i'm not actually OV'ing and have some major problem. - suspect it's nothing but am just intreseted on where the persona would be inaccurate or not?

It calculates your hormone levels, so one presumes you are producing a different level of a particular hormone when you ovulate, and therefore that's when it's telling you you are...

For what it's worth it took nearly five months of using the personal before "it" felt confident enough to tell me I was actually ovulating, and not just giving me red and green days...

I conceived using the persona. It was accurate enough for me ... apparently!

ooh thanks for that cat, it's a comfort althou I'll ring the help line tomorrow i think, I have a horrible feeling that we're not going to concieve and there's something wrong with my tubes (althou this could all be because of the fact my DH is coming home in 4 weeks and we'll be activly trying again)

I think Persona is quite accurate, so would say that you have ovulated each month. Unfortunately it can take a long time to conceive even if you BD at the right time - it took me a long time. Tracking your ovulation like this gives you really good information if you decide you would like to see your GP to investigate matters further.

You can tell if you are ovulating by looking at the test sticks. If you are not OVing, the left hand line is dark. When you OV both lines are dark or the right one dominant. I used to look before putting the stick in the machine and I was right.

thanks, I do have a v dark test line - do u know if this means the egg would definatly be able to get thru? my cycles are 26 days when I OV on 12/13 and 27 when I OV on 13/14 every month like clockwork I seem to have one on 12/13 the next is on 13/14 and so on. I'm sure I'm worrying over nothing but well I am really worried my eggs aren't working properly.

Persona showed that I didn't ovulate every month (only a couple of times) but I am nearly 38 so this isn't surprising. I used Persona to get pregnant on a 'red day' worked in the first month - result.

If I hadn't got pregnant straight away I think I would have got an ovulation prediction thingy.

Give it time and don't get stressed as this can sometimes hamper conception.

i know that's what DH is telling me! lol, the first month I used it with him it didn't work as the last day we BD was 8 b4 he went away again, and as he's back ion 4 weeks I want everything to be right so i'll fall in the first couple of months - i'll be so depressed if I don't after waiting this long!
