Hi, i normally post on the special needs section so its the first time on this part.

Been off the pill for 2 months now, am due my period on sunday and for the past 2 weeks have felt sick, tummy cramps low down, sore breasts and very tired. Was very impatient and did a test this morning and came up negative but i am still convinced im pregnant or is it just wishful thinking. Or could it be side effects from coming off the pill, but surly these sideeffects would have started last month. Is 4 days before your period too early to test???

Didnt think it could happen this quick but have really convinced myself now which is clearly a bad thing, When is the best time to do a test is it the first day your period is late???

arrrrr its so long till sunday!!!

Four days before you are due may well be too early to test. Ideally you should wait until the day your period is due.

Re the symptoms, unfortunately a lot of symptoms - nausea, headaches, sore breasts, tiredness - can be caused by high progesterone levels which are normal in the run up to your period. If you haven't been off the pill for long you won't be used to all the hormonal changes that go on throughout a normal cycle. Therefore those symptoms may or may not indicate pregnancy.

Anyway, good luck. It is too early to test and you may still get your BFP.
