can your period be late whilst on Clomid?

Hi there,

Just need some thing clarified... am on Clomid cycle 3 and thought that they regulated your cycle to 28 days. Is this true? Can anyone confirm this for me?

Clomid only makes your ovaries work harder.

Are you being monitored whilst on this drug treatment, you should ideally be monitored whilst on it.

Hi there,

Was monitored the first month and had a follicle scan, blood tests and they could see I had ovulated. My cycle has always been irregular but usually between 30 - 36 days. My first AF was after 31 days, second was after 28 days and now I'm on day 29. Took ovulation tests for each cycle and came on 14 days after the 'smiley face'.

Did a pregnancy test this morning (didn't sleep last night thinking about it!) and it was a BFN. Not surprised as doubt very much if I'm pregnant as have had too many disappointments. Just wondered whether Clomid regulated your cycle too...
