Can a test be wrong or am I crazy?

I need some advice.

My period is 4 days overdue and a test yesterday came back negative. I feel queasy after meals and have had period-like cramps on and off for 2 weeks or more.

Until I had my first baby my periods were irregular but are now normally within a day of when expected.

Is it just my mind giving me symptoms?

What do you think I should do? I am hopeless at waiting.

I know waiting's difficult but all I can suggest is that if your period hasn't come and you still feel symptoms, it's possible you're pg - I tested negative at a week overdue, positive about 6 days later (we'd been away or I probably wouldn't have waited so long). Several scans have proved it wasn't my imagination.

Hope you find out what you want to.

doc was no help at all cillapops - wont take a blood test till im 2 weeks late but he didnt rule out a pregnancy. did say it is very early and not unusual for it to be too early to tell!.

I am going round the twist.

No sign of period. Had one odd tiny "clot" about 2mm in length yesterday nothing but nothing before and nothing after. Terrible cramps all night.

Had to do a test this morning as couldn't wait and again negative. Still feel dreadful and now 5 days late.

How's everyone else doing??

My sympathies, I went through the same thing last month and was very dissapointed. The delay was probably caused by your body gearing up for pregnancy and just not seeing it through. I had the same thing before I had my ds, my body likes to perform a dress rehearsal before staging the main event. Last month I felt sick for 2 weeks and then started getting cramps, had the most horrendous AF which went on for days. You think you're going mad after a while. I'm feeling sick again this month, day two now and am scared to go through it all again. I'm trying not to get so worked up this time and I'm certainly NOT going to blow a fortune on testing kits! hmm
