And me, although I have been here a LONG time (2.5years) and I haven't done much BDing this month so not much chance here . But hey, it only takes one swimmer so we will see.

Only the 3rd month of trying to TTC my first (at age 38!!) This is probably the first month I've actually understood my cycle and fertile days properly, but only managed one BD session at the best time (day before OV), so am not overly helpful but will undoubtedly be symptom spotting anyway !

Me too! It's gonna be a long week. I keep imagining I can feel little cramps and pulls like somethings cooking but kepp telling myself its wishful thinking.

If I knew exactly when I ov'd it would be helpful but I don't. Had big BD fest from CD9-12 which was prob too early but very nice all the same! Thought I felt slight ov pain on day 13 but Fertilty Friend said it should have been day 16 - am losing faith in my own judgement.

And I'm not going near a test until 19th! I have hidden mine in my pants draw so I don't see them everytime I open the bathroom cupboard.

Wasabi - I've been posting a lot on the thread "Anyone else on CD1 who wants to join me" - some are going for a "group test-a-thon" tomorrow and I think there are 2 of us planning the same next Friday 19th - you are very welcome to join us

My free clearblue test is in my knicker drawer too !

LullyMummaOfOne · 11/09/2008 14:15

Jools- my free clearblue test is in my sock draw, maybe this free test will bring us luck.
Wasabi- you never know, dont give up hope.

I havent had that much BD but did mamage the everyother day method around OV time. Althoug my cycle is a little messed up at the mo (due to miscarriage in July) so im sitting tight waiting for Wed to come!

Good luck to you all

Me too. I am due on Sept 19th/20th. Managed lots of BDing this month as we were on holiday. However used free test last month. Not hopeful though - no symptons at all - usually I have every one in the book by this time.

Hey Bucky! I'm a bit crap really, lost my youngest cat two nights ago, killed on the road, she was only 3 and a half. Finding it hard to deal with her not being her really. She was an adorable little baby, purry and loving. Thank God for her it was instant and she still looked perfect when I got to her just asleep, my little fluff baby. Rushing out to go to her I twisted over on my ankle and am now in a cast with a broken foot.

How are you? Don't want to sound like a stalker but saw on the assisted conception thread you are thinking of going to Norway for a consult. Good luck if that is what you do, lets hope this is your month and you don't need it. Was browsing as wanted to know what sort of things people were doing with regard to long term ttc. May come say hello on the WIMBE thread too, I just feel awkward joining in an established group iyswim.

Bucky2008 · 12/09/2008 19:33

ClairePO don't feel awkward. They probably all know you over on the WIMBEWAIF thread anyway. I know Griffingirl now called Judithgin does anyway. Quite a few of us used to be in the waiting room way back when. However, I am beginning to think our thread is jinxed as we are having lots of bad luck at the moment . With your broken foot and recent loss I think you are in for some good luck now so maybe you will bring some with you .

I am sorry about your cat . If your anything like me (its dogs in my house) they are like surrogate children....I would cry for days if one of my pups went amiss .

Maybe you will get a bfp as your good luck this month.

Re Norway, I am hesitating. I don't know why, but everything seems to be against the idea. The flights don't work, I don't have enough leave etc etc and I am a bit of a follower of fate, so am wondering if it is meant to be .

Looks like im the first to have AF arrive, its slightly early and very heavy. My DP had to take me to A&E yester after flooding all over the bathroom floor, i was pasing clots the size of new potatoes (sorry TMI i know). Apprantly its just a heavy period nothing else, cant quite believe it though. I think my cycle is just confused after my MC.
Good luck to everyone

Can I join you too? I'm not due till 22nd Sept.

It's only my second month of trying, and I've been ill for 3 weeks so don't think there's much chance this month! But I guess you never know!

Good luck everyone. Sorry about your day Lully - sounds scary, I hope you're ok.

heylottie · 12/09/2008 20:37

I'd like to join too please! I am due on the 20th and have no symptoms except ONE sore boob...
Sorry to hear about your cat ClairePO -I have two cats and know exactly how much you can love them.
And Lully - I also have heavy periods -its like Mother Natures final kick in the teeth when you are TTC!

wasabipeanut · 13/09/2008 09:08

Oh Lully I'm sorry to hear that. Must be a pretty frightening experience.

Mother nature really is an utter beatch at times.

Report
ClairePO · 15/09/2008 09:43

Lully that does sound very frightening have they ever been that heavy before. Wishing you all the luck for this cycle.

I think I'm either 10 or 11 dpo but if it is 11dpo then no chance we missed and if it is 10dpo then still no chance after all it has never happened any other month. We're on holiday when I should be ovulating next cycle so that makes me feel a bit better about things.

Hi ClairePO, no this has never happended before. I have always had very regular & light periods. I went to my GP yesterday and she seems to think its just an hormonal change since my MC. It has all stopped now so i guess its just a waiting game!!

GOod luck

Me! Can i join in. Feeling very hormonal at the moment-i'm hoping its pregnancy hormones but i'm starting to think its not but I am very tired, feeling sick, very moody, covered in spots and breasts are tender.....trouble is that these could all just as well be AF symptoms

Not too long to go til i know for sure i suppose-cycle has been between 32-36 days since dd normally 33-34 so that would make it this fri or sat. I suppose assuming no AF i should wait til at least tuesday to test. I so want to be pregnant, please let this be our month [fingers crossed]

How is everyone else?

welcome sammysam (that's my no 2 cats name, Sam but I call him Sammy Sam)

I think period due Fri/Sat for me too, no symptoms other than slightly sore boobs which for me is a sign period due.

I have no tests in the house and can't walk due to broken foot and ocado don't sell pregnancy tests so I'm feeling quite calm knowing I couldn't test even if I wanted to.

I'm kinda hoping period starts tomorrow because I have to go to hospital on Friday anyway with foot and I could get my CD2 blood test done at same time bet that won;t work out!

think i'm out for this month.
Had some brown cm last night and this morning-not too normal for me but really think af is about to start.
Getting so dishartened with this whole process-in hindsight dd being a complete surprise was the best thing in the whole wide world to have happened (it was a huge shock and took a while to get our heads round it, and feel I as didn't get to enjoy the pregnacy through worry, dps family's comments and buying our house and moving 80 miles-but there was none of this dissapointment, worry, stress, wishing etc )
ClairePO- This was going to be the first month I actually had a test ready and waiting
Good luck to everyone else-lets hope everyone else has good news

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining in... My AF is due on 20th, although it's really between 20th-23rd as since my mc last year it hasn't been as regular as it used to be. Sorry to hear about the sad experiences some of you have had. Claire, I hope you are all right after your horrible week!

I have no pg symptoms, I don't think. I was convinced I kept feeling a bit nauseous but that's passed and the slight twinges I've felt in my womb feel like PMT, really. I've been sweating a lot during the night but again, could be PMT or could be because I'm suffering a bit from anxiety at the moment.

Finding it so hard, this monthly pantomime!!

xx
