Hi, I have had light period for four days now (blood when I wipe and a little clotting but no need for pads at all) and done a few tests all of which bfn but I feel pregnant - sore heavy boobs and knackered and sicky. I know having a period and a negative test means def not pregnant but has anyone had this and still been pregnant? Who bled then was pregnant and who found out several days later? Thanks - I am driving self mad.

Hi Oopsidaisy

If it helps, I am in pretty much the same situation - no red blood though, just brown (sorry if TMI !!) I had a BFN yesterday but have sore boobs, nausea, tiredness etc and quite definite cramping in lower back yesterday - oh, and I'm convinced my sense of smell is really good at the mo. You name a symptom, and I can find it !!

Could it be an implantation bleed ? I'm no expert as this is only my second month TTC ever. However, I have read loads - some ppl can have light periods and still be pg and some can have implantation bleeding at the same time as they are expection their period.

Would you be officially late yet ? It it is an implantation bleed, you may need to wait for a couple of days for the hormone levels to start going up before you get a result.

Good luck

Was your period due around four days ago?

me too!...very light all I can call a period....but two days of spotting, one of heavier bleeding, then today back to hardly anything...when before ALL my periods are 2-3 days heave with only the first and last days being light. I still think it is my period tho.....way to late for implant bleed for me anyway...goodluck!

Period was due today or yesterday, so spotting/bleeding started two days early, about 12 days after I think I ovulated.

That sounds very promising to me - possible implantation bleed ?

I read somewhere yesterday that if you test ten days post ov and it is negative, test again on day 16 ...

Not sure if I can hold out that long but tomorrow is day 15

I always imagine symptoms and then my period comes.

AF got me yesterday

I wasn't imagining symptoms though, as I'm still feeling nauseous and dizzy - turns out there is a bug going round the office

Oh, and my boobs are still a pre-menstrual size and aching - grrrrr

Can I come and obsess over here please? I have no AF at all yet. I am sure i ov'd of CD16 and after 27 months trying I am pretty sure my LP is 11 days so AF should have turned up two days ago as I am on CD30 now. With two BFNs (one yesterday morning and one on Wednesday evening) I am confused and obsessed.

I hope you all are right and you are pg . I don't have any symptoms except record breaking nail growth .

Sorry Jools . I x-posted....

Hi Bucky I am in the same boat. Was due at the weekend and started spotting but then.....nothing. Bit of spotting on and off all week but just pinkish or brown and tiny amount, no red flow (sorry TMI again).

2 BFN's so far. Refuse to test again. No symptoms. Can't be pregnant, any decent test would have picked it up by now but have never missed an AF in my life.

Don't know what to do - am getting worried. Shall we obsess together??

I dont want to scare anyone and perhaps this message is too late - but i had exactly the same symptoms and suffered an ectopic pregnancy, it may be wise to get an early scan just to make sure everything is at is should be
