Ovulation?

I'm confused, I've never used ovulation kits until this month, I'm CD20 at the moment, and because I didn't really understand the kits, I stocked up, and started testing everyday from CD5, I got positive results on CD11 and Cd12, and I tested again today and it's positive again, you can't ovulate twice can you?

No, you wouldn't ovulate twice this far apart, but you can have more than one LH surge which is what these tests detect.

The LH surge is what triggers ovulation, but sometimes your body gears up to ovulate and then fails to do so.
It sounds to me as though this is what has happened to you.
Do you know how long your normal cycle is?

I had my coil out on the 10th of July, and I started my period on the 27th, the month before I started on the 30th of June, before that they were very sporadic because of the coil. I'm just so confused now, here I am waiting for my period to start hoping I could be pregnant, when I might not of even ovulated yet?!

I've never had a coil so don't know how they work (was it one that affects your hormones like Mirena?) but from what you say it sounds like your cycle might be a bit erratic, especially as this is your first coil-free cycle. It's really not that uncommon to ovulate on CD20 or later.

Yeah it was a mirena coil, my periods were all over the place when i had it in , wish I'd never had it in the first place! TTC is confusing, at least by next month I should have a better idea of where my cycle is i suppose.

Yes, it might take a couple of cycles for things to settle down, I imagine.
Which is not to say you won't get pregnant this time...
