Hi nelix i'm due on 16th so def testing next week if no AF. Had a few achey twinges tho, got a sneaky feeling its not gonna be this month!

BTW, are the cheapo Boots own brand tests any good?

Am loath to start buying £10 a pop Clearblue's at this point.

me too damdaffs i have twinges and a neg result today but AF not due until tomorrow so i guess time will tell!

wasabipeanut surte you can hold out......i am sure boots test is fine....most generic brands are only more expensive because of all the packaging and the brand name....! goodluck!

wasabipeanut, i got a positive result last time with a cheap and nasty type drugstore test, not even as posh as boots - but i was 5 days over by that time.

10 quid is A LOT!

i'm trying to hold out testing to the weekend too! have quite irregular cycles but am on day 35 now! am waiting patiently until sunday!!

every month i get it into my head that i must be pg, then the day after, af comes in force!!

i'm sure when i had dd i had really sore bb's for a while before i even tested

hmm, ive got sore bb's but usually get that pre-AF anyway. had heartburn all night tho, i thought 'ooh, possible weirdy symptom'..

wouldnt it be brilliant if one of us did it this month!!

I am leaving testing as long as possible....every day without AF is a good sign to me......I feel kinda sad tho as I know its gonna come....i just wonder if its the stress thats keeping it away....maybe I am just setting myself up for the worst lol cos this is the worst wait of my life!...I will not test till monday if AF is not here over the weekend.....not a matter of willpower for me....but hope!.....aaah ladies lol dont cave hold out for testing!!!

i think you're right; test too early and you might get a false negative even! I've only got one test left so i'm saving it. if i dont do it this month, i think i'm going to get into fanatical mode...39 now so got to get on with it - yikes!

i've been leaving it for the last few days too and if my lovely mil hadnt been at our house i wouldve probably caved by now!!

i agree though nelix, before you test there is still that hope there and as soon as you get that negative all hope vanishes!

Hmm tested yesterday as it's been 40 days since my last period - used the clearblue digital fancy one I got free via MN and ....... "not pregnant". So what's going on I wonder? Grr

eeek lego not sure whats going on...I signed up for the clearblue trial on here and got a new test from them with conception indicator telling you when you conceived....will be trying it tomorrow if AF is still at bay!

well i caved and tested this morning with the clearblue trial test and surprise surprise got a bfN
i thought it was fate that i get a pg test through the post when i'm already late and couldnt resist testing. still no af though and now on day 37, I'm catching u up lego! have our af's gone on their jollies together!
still have no af or pg symptoms and will hold off testing again until midweek (unless af comes sooner)
