How many of you got BFP with digital clear blue test at least 3 days before???

Just got back from shop and due on in three days time.

The test states its 82% accuarate three days before but states you need to use first wee of the day.

Does that mean that it just wont detect at other times of the day or just less chanee.

Its killing me to think I have to wait until tomorrow morning - weak I know

I am also thinking that because I have such strong symptoms that the hormone levels must be high enough for it to detect if i used it now?

Strong taste in mouth
Queasy
Tired
Tingly nipples
Just today got preperiod feelings too which I had with last pregnancy.

What do you think shall I waste one or am I being stupid?

I've always found First Response to be more sensitive.

I would have stocked up on ebay cheapies before now, and being happily peeing on multiple stick per day

However these are rather expensive (though not more accurate!!) tests, therefore you may want to wait...

The anti-testing brigade will be along soon to tell you not to do it until august the day your period would have been due, but as long as you can cope with a possible false negative...piddle away

I would wait until at least tomorrow morning just so you know your wee is not diluted.

Or wait until you are late if you can bear it as the CB ones are expensive.

I have heard that the Digital ones are not as sensitive as the non-digital ones.

I've wasted 5 (tesco) tests this last week, because I was overdue and not sure why so I can't really talk

Just got my second early positive using First Response. The packet says unlike clear blue you don't have to test with the first wee.

dinny · 07/07/2008 19:48

sorry, missed the fact you'd done it

leave it for a couple of days?

Litterbug · 07/07/2008 19:48

Right first response is on profile, I did that and it was so faint ... but visable straight away if you know what I mean. So I did the digital straight after and it came up 'pregnant'.

Did you do the digital today?

Order one from boots online or ebay that way you know its on its way and by the time it gets here you will get a 100% true answer if you have a faint line on that 1st response i would be pretty certain though!

babyhollie - how exciting, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I have promised myself not to test until I am one day overdue now.

I should have learnt my lesson from my last pregnancy, used an early tester day before I was due and got BFN, next day I was due no sign of period so done the other in the pack and got very faint positive so now I am holding onto that memory and hoping its the same again - PLEASE!!!

GOING THIS MORNING WOULD YOU GET a digital clear blue or first response again?

Report
lulumama · 08/07/2008 07:26

i would buy whichever HPT is the cheapest, if you are late then any test should pick it up. no point spending £16 when £2 will do IMO.

Report
babytime · 08/07/2008 10:00

people seem to rate first response on here, I have seen a few comments that digital clear blue are not as sensitive?

but like lulumama said, if your're over due then any should pick it up now.

goodluck x
