How many of you got BFP with digital clear blue test at least 3 days before???

Just got back from shop and due on in three days time.

The test states its 82% accuarate three days before but states you need to use first wee of the day.

Does that mean that it just wont detect at other times of the day or just less chanee.

Its killing me to think I have to wait until tomorrow morning - weak I know grin

I am also thinking that because I have such strong symptoms that the hormone levels must be high enough for it to detect if i used it now?

Strong taste in mouth
Queasy
Tired
Tingly nipples
Just today got preperiod feelings too which I had with last pregnancy.

What do you think shall I waste one or am I being stupid?

I've always found First Response to be more sensitive.

I would have stocked up on ebay cheapies before now, and being happily peeing on multiple stick per day grin

However <serious face> these are rather expensive (though not more accurate!!) tests, therefore you may want to wait...

The anti-testing brigade will be along soon to tell you not to do it until august the day your period would have been due, but as long as you can cope with a possible false negative...piddle away grin

I would wait until at least tomorrow morning just so you know your wee is not diluted.

Or wait until you are late if you can bear it as the CB ones are expensive.

I have heard that the Digital ones are not as sensitive as the non-digital ones.

I've wasted 5 (tesco) tests this last week, because I was overdue and not sure why so I can't really talk grin

Just got my second early positive using First Response. The packet says unlike clear blue you don't have to test with the first wee.

babytime Mon 07-Jul-08 11:53:38

well i never learn - just wasted more money

i know i said I would never use early tests again

i know i should use the first wee of the day

BFN

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Its so frustrating!

babytime Mon 07-Jul-08 11:54:16

right

i'm off out to buy a first response

babyhollie Mon 07-Jul-08 19:36:40

OH no poor you. I was due on on the 6th... I tested with clear blue digital and got a bfn but today used a first response and got a very faint line very very faint though.. do you think it will be positive it was very very faint though.. I also tested with some of those cheap testers from one ound shop and showed up bfn three times... what do you think??

I hope you are like me and get what you are after

Litterbug Mon 07-Jul-08 19:37:59

I got a faint faint + on first response at 3+3 and did a CB digital straight after and got a 'pregnant'.

babyhollie Mon 07-Jul-08 19:40:45

oh i did the clear blue digital on saturday afternoon and then the first response today.. I did two.. what a waste of money lol.. was the line very very faint and not bright pink but visible in light? sorry to ask so many questions

Litterbug Mon 07-Jul-08 19:44:52

I have a picture of it..the first response?

ill put it on my profile... 1 sec ...

dinny Mon 07-Jul-08 19:47:02

I did one last week 3-4 days before period (about 3rd wee of the day!) and got BFP v quickly

go on....

dinny Mon 07-Jul-08 19:48:10

sorry, missed the fact you'd done it

leave it for a couple of days?

Litterbug Mon 07-Jul-08 19:48:39

Right first response is on profile, I did that and it was so faint ... but visable straight away if you know what I mean. So I did the digital straight after and it came up 'pregnant'.

Litterbug Mon 07-Jul-08 19:49:24

Oh and it was a 2 pack of first responses, i had done the first test the day before and it was 100% negative!

babyhollie Mon 07-Jul-08 19:57:54

ummmm I have looked at mine and very similar.. it came up straight away also or within the lime limits etc... shall i go waste some more money tonight on another digital??? OR shall I wait a few more days.. I hate the wait and want to know though do you?

babyhollie Mon 07-Jul-08 19:58:25

oh also thanks so much for taking time to put pic in profile....

Litterbug Mon 07-Jul-08 19:59:44

Did you do the digital today?

Order one from boots online or ebay that way you know its on its way and by the time it gets here you will get a 100% true answer if you have a faint line on that 1st response i would be pretty certain though!

Turniphead1 Mon 07-Jul-08 20:08:10

I got bfp on one of these 4 days before AF.

babyhollie Mon 07-Jul-08 22:07:36

Hi there again I did the digital one on Saturday afternoon late afternoon in Tesco toilets as we were on our way to a hotel for the evening.. it jsut said not pregnant. I did both the first response tests today and bothe withi 5 mins showed a very faint but visble line but it was visible when held up to the light. ummmm may order one off ebay and may buy one at tesco when I do the school run in the morning! lol will keep you all informed. Thanks

babytime Mon 07-Jul-08 22:15:39

babyhollie - how exciting, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I have promised myself not to test until I am one day overdue now.

I should have learnt my lesson from my last pregnancy, used an early tester day before I was due and got BFN, next day I was due no sign of period so done the other in the pack and got very faint positive so now I am holding onto that memory and hoping its the same again - PLEASE!!!

babyhollie Mon 07-Jul-08 22:18:09

babytime Mon 07-Jul-08 22:55:15

babyhollie Tue 08-Jul-08 06:35:08

GOING THIS MORNING WOULD YOU GET a digital clear blue or first response again?

lulumama Tue 08-Jul-08 07:26:21

i would buy whichever HPT is the cheapest, if you are late then any test should pick it up. no point spending £16 when £2 will do IMO.
