1 dpo today - anyone with me??

Title says it all really! 1 dpo today and feeling a bit down and tired already! Not looking forward to the next two weeks. Have had three losses in six months this year so getting a bfp is only the first hurdle. Trying to stay positive but for some reason I feel like this month we didn’t have sex enough.

I'm so sorry to hear about your losses 😔 how long have you been TTC?

I'm 3dpo so not too far off from where you're at. I find it difficult to stay positive but really making a conscious effort to try this month. We DTD a fair bit prior to my peak day but then I got a cold and I just wasn't in the mood on ovulation day😩

So sorry to hear what you've been through @weathervane123 and @Mammma91. TTC can be so tough! I hate the 2ww (who doesn't!). Here's to lots of distractions over the next couple of weeks :)

Am also 1-2 dpo, so same boat! Not very hopeful as it took us 7 years to have our first, but then again, she was a surprise after we decided no more treatments or IVF, so who knows!

Are you guys tracking temp/with an app/using opks?

@Frandler, hi! I've been ttc #1 since late Feb this year, so not long really. But with the losses it's been a rollercoaster! I'm 38 so feeling the pressure.

It's such a pain when life decides to intervene and ruin any chance of dtd on ovulation day. This cycle my partner was having a truly terrible day, poor thing, and I was lucky he pulled it together to give it a shot! Loads of luck to you too.

@Mammma91 I'm sorry for your loss too. It's awful getting your hopes up and then having them destroyed. Makes TTC such an anxious time. I hope this is your month x

@tink339 7 years is a long time, that must've been hard. But your daughter must've been such a wonderful surprise! The body is a mystery really!

I'm using OPKs and find them pretty reliable/easy to read. I have pretty clear symptoms of ovulation too (some months more pronounced than others), so I can tell.

Only 13 days to go folks. Here's hoping this is a lucky thread!

Hi everyone, can I jump on in? I am about 4 dpo today. I got my static smiley on the clear blue on Monday so I’m guessing Tuesday was ovulation. Not sure if we DTD enough this cycle but a girl can hope! I thought I had all the symptoms last cycle (plus a three day late period) and that didn’t turn into a BFP so I’m going to try not to symptom spot this time. How are you all doing? Exciting weekend plans?

@MaybeBabyAli ahh it’s so hard not to symptom spot isn’t it! How many months into ttc are you? I’ve imagined all sorts of symptoms but know it’s in my head as it’s way too early! Monday or Tuesday was O day for me too I think! So I’m either 4 or 5 DPO!

Hey ladies 👋🏻. I ovulated yesterday. Trying the kits but I also literally feel ovulation - always have! My left one this month.

This is our first month trying and will be our first. We originally said after Xmas but just thought we’d casually not prevent it but me being me… straight online to buy ovulation kits . I’m 37 & would love to have two so really need to get a wiggle on.

I feel rough today. Woke up coughing & sneezing. Feeling very nauseous too so still in bed. Will do a lateral flow test in a mo.

@Peonies94 We’re only in the second month of seeing what happens so not really on it properly but being type A I’ve got all the apps and the fancy clear blue kit! It looks like we’re almost exactly on the same schedule 😁 what are your plans for testing?

@ExcitedtoTry sounds like we’re in the same boat! My hubby and I agreed we would try properly after Christmas but I’ve gone mad for all the things that need to be peed on!! Im not good at doing things half arsed… I’ve never been able to feel ovulation but I get light general cramping on the day that I think I think it happens.

I just had my little 2yr old niece over for the morning and it makes me want this more. She was conceived whilst her mum was on the pill so was a really happy surprise for the family. It always amazes me how it just happens for some people but others try desperately hard and nothing happens. It does worry me sometimes as I want more than one but in my thirties I need to get going.

Haha same @MaybeBabyAli! Seeing my lovely nephew just makes me want to get on with it. I’ve got tests both preggo and ovulation all neatly stacked in the bathroom cupboard.

One reason to crack on is just so I know we can conceive. I can’t help but worry it won’t happen & want to be free of the anxiety

Sorry ladies, busy day 😁🤦‍♀️
For us it's been a year exactly. B4 I promised myself I want kids till max 30 years old. Because this is how I am. By my 30th birthday I tested positive , which turned out an ectopic. 🥺 for 3months I was told not to try because of the vaccine I've got. Since then my hubby and I do it unprotected, 2 times I had chemical, this month we really took it seriously as It is the anniversary of the ectopic . Hoping a BFP next week for my 31.birthday
We already have 2 boys (6 and 4yrs old) we know we are blessed. But we would love to extend our little family. Wishing for a girl soo much 🥺🥺
So that's our story.
What about you guys? Have you got children already?

I’m exactly the same! Once I decide to do something, I want to do it right here and right now! So I’m 29, my first cycle ttc, and my first child too. Recently got married having postponed a year because of covid, so now I feel in a mad rush!

@ExcitedtoTry glad to hear you got negative on the lateral flow - I hope you feel better soon. I’m not sure I’ll be able to hold off testing so long. I tell myself to wait until AF doesn’t arrive but I know I won’t. We’re visiting friends next weekend which will be boozy so I’m sure I’ll convince myself it is for the best to take a test on Saturday morning…

@Bell024 sorry to hear of your difficult first year TTC, I hope you’ll get your BFP very soon. I turned 31 earlier this year having always thought I’d be married with kids by 30 as I’ve been with the hubby since I was 21. Turns out there’s loads of things to get in the way of best laid plans!!
