Bit of a long story but here I go

On 26 March found out I was having a missed miscarriage at 9.5 weeks. I started medical management the following week, taking two sets of tablets.

On 16 April returned for a scan and they told me there was tissue left, had ERPC on the 20th. I had a heavy period on the 16th. I was still getting positive tests and went back 6 days after to the EPAU, they scanned me and told me there was still some tissue left and I had to do another round of medical management 13 days ago.hasn’t been much bleeding, more spotting but it’s been coming and going for a week

Yesterday I went for a follow up scan, they said there could still be tissue there or a polyp and to come back in 3 months and not to ttc. I got so upset and they no will see me for a scan 2 weeks after my next period. They could not give me any rationale to wait 3 months other than to feel good physically and emotionally even though physically there is no reason why I shouldn’t they said. I asked if they could send a camera to check and they said no. I’m so angry and trying to get to see a private consultant for a 2nd opinion

Pregnancy tests have now been negative for 12 days. Does anyone have a similar story or advice? I’m at the end of my tether at this stage and just want to start again

If there's still tissue you won't be able to get pregnant

It sounds like you’ll need a D&C, op.

@Emmelina

It sounds like you’ll need a D&C, op.

Will that be to take out the remaining tissue?

@Conundrum12345 yes! I don't know why they haven't referred you already, tissue that's inside you for so long could potentially lead to a bad infection!

I don’t know either. I have an appointment with another consultant next week. Hope I get answers then. It’s been going on so long
