Hey so I’m currently 10DPO and have a few symptoms..... cramps,
Aching boobs, metal taste in my mouth and I am sooooooo tired!!
Took a test at 7DPO (boots one) and saw a faint line.... took another test (just a cheap one from wilko) last night and deffo no line.... I’ve attached both tests- the wilko one is purple xx

Your picture of the Wilko one is really dark so it’s hard to see. I’m 10DPO today too and was gutted no line for me this morning but I think it’s still early and I only had an amazon cheapie.
I can see something faint in the Boots one but 7DPO is crazily early to get any kind of line. Have you got any more tests in?

BriocheBuns · 13/11/2020 14:17

Definitely a line on the boots one but can’t see on the other x

I’m due on Monday too!! I am trying to hold off testing anymore but it’s so hard, this is my first time trying again after a miscarriage at 9weeks in September, still trying for our first.

I caved again . I’m currently 11DPO today. I now have a
Blocked nose if that’s relevant? I’m thinking if I was preg i would have had implantation bleeding by now?
Negative again today by the look of
It, cramping
Feels different today though.....thinking my
Period is just around the corner.....

Oh I was just thinking of you because I also caved and did a cheap one, also no line for me. I didn’t get implantation bleeding either, I did last time but only very slight brown spotting once. I don’t think implantation bleeding happens everyone every time.

I refuse to totally give up hope but I think it’s not my month.

11dpo is still really early and both those tests you are using take a lot hcg to even get a vvvfl @SimplyAmy1 don't worry until af turns up there's always hope.

Also when I fell pregnant last year my first symptom was a blocked up stuffy nose, I spoke to my doctor about it and he said some woman can suffer this because of the blood supply (I have screen shot something in case you want to know more)

I feel like we still have time though!! I’ve also been posting on baby centre, I think it’s American so replies aren’t always the fastest but they’re all saying only 80% of positives are at 11dpo...people are getting positives at 16 and 17 DPO, my fingers (and toes!) are still crossed for us - at how many DPO did you find out you were pregnant before? XXXX

@SimplyAmy1 @AngelasLastEgg also not every woman has IB, it's actually quite rare, so don't be freaked out if you haven't.

Ahhh Thankyou @beanchopper17 I’m due on Monday and have cramping today but feels more on my
Left side lower down so not sure if that’s a sign of PMS? Xx

We weren’t really properly trying before (I had just come off the pill) so wasn’t really tracking or anything like I have this time, so difficult to say, but it was quite early, probably about 12DPO.

Thanks Beanchopper, DH keeps saying ‘it’s called the two week wait for a reason!’ meaning obviously I’m being too impatient and getting disheartened now, but if he says it again I will not be responsible for my actions AngryGrin

😂😂😂 clearly he doesn’t understand the anxiety behind it all haha
I’ve Also just read on baby centre that the later you test positive, the higher risk of a miscarriage or that it’s more likely- is that true? 🤨 xx

I didn't get my BFP til AF was 6 days overdue... had a perfect pregnancy and a healthy child. I've not heard of that theory before, I'd take it with a pinch of salt if I were you.

God I have no idea but the sad fact is, miscarriages are really common, especially very early ones. I really don’t think there’s any evidence you can tell from pregnancy tests though. It’s such a rollercoaster because if I’m pregnant that’s a whole fresh heap of anxiety about hoping it’s a sticky bean!

SimplyAmy1 · 14/11/2020 10:35

@Shmithecat2That’s so reassuring! Congratulations on your healthy pregnancy and child 💕 xxx

@SimplyAmy1 there is no concrete reason for early miscarriages. Sadly I did loose my pregnancy last year (tested positive at 16dpo, lost the pregnancy at 7weeks).

The most common reasons is purely genetic, the egg wasn't strong enough quality, didn't implant properly, the lining isn't thick enough - the list goes on.

Trying to base it on when you test positive will only cause you anxiety, but doing research there is nothing to back that theory up. HCG usually doubles every 2 days after implantation, some women's levels raise slower, some women's levels sky rocket! So the slower they go up the later the positiveSmile

I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriage ♥️

Are you trying again? Thankyou for the reassurance though, I think I’m just over analysing every little thing and google sometimes
Doesn’t help! Xxx

@SimplyAmy1 yeah I have been trying over 10years so the pregnancy last year was a hugeeeee shock! But I keep trying, determined to be a mum.

I know it can be so overwhelming all the information out there and then people's opinions, nightmare!

I have done sooooo much research over the last 10years that my mum thinks I have made it too much like science, which made me laugh cause it's all about the biology!
