A little part of me dies when I get AF

I know this sounds dramatic but my monthly period or lack of a bfp is starting to bring me down and affect me. I can’t even tell my partner about it because I feel it’s selfish to moan when we’re only on cycle 5 ttc baby number 2. In this period we’ve had one chemical. I just feel like I don’t know what to do to get a bfp and it’s frustrating. No point to this post, just needed to vent as I’m currently due AF today. Resenting the fact that my body is showing no pregnancy symptoms and I know AF will show up any minute now.

It’s not selfish to talk to your partner when you’re finding things difficult 💕 they are there to support you, as you are for them. It’s a tough journey, don’t feel bad for having feelings about it. Wishing you all the luck x

I'm in the same position as you - cycle five, waiting for AF any minute, TTC no. 2 and had a chemical a couple of months back. I know so many have it much worse - but I'm really struggling with the crushing disappointment every month.
No advice, just solidarity and fingers crossed for you that you get some good news soon.

Just offering some solidarity here. TTC#1 and am on cycle 10. Never even seen a hint of a BFP so am getting worried my body just doesn't have the capacity for it.

@Tryingandhoping2020 thanks so much for the kind words. I talk to my partner but I get jealous if men that they can ‘detach’ themselves from feeling like this constantly as it’s not happening to their bodies. We on the other hand can’t help it because we live it.

@SamuelWhiskey I’m so sorry about your chemical. Hoping you get some positive news soon! Fingers crossed for next cycle.

@Juno231 I’m so sorry to hear it’s been nearly a year. It’s so frustrating. Have you asked for any medical advice yet? Wishing you the very best xx
