Will check again in a couple days but forgot to mention yesterday (20.09) I was nauseous and sick but felt fine today (21.09) then randomly felt nauseous and butterflys in my stomach feeling. I have been pregnant before but miscarried (28.12.18) so just want to make sure I’m not seeing things so anyone’s advice is very helpful and I have always said more then one pair of eyes is always good

I see what you are referring to but I wouldn't say it's a positive test. Wait 48hrs and test again. In that time frame you would expect more conclusive lines.

Those tests look either drowned or not dry? There shouldn’t be that much ink run once a test is dry if you just dip it below the max line for 5 seconds? At least mine have never had that much ink when dry and the tests look the same as the ones I use...

I think it may be a faulty pack then because I had done this I know how to use a test I have been using them for 2 years or longer also comes with very clear instructions, I have had two tests that dried like this held it in the wee pot for 5seconds with a timer of 5 seconds

I can definitely see the line. Fingers crossed this is your BFP. Have you tested again?

Fingers crossed for you OP! I can kind of see a faint line, just hard to be sure with all that ink run. Hopefully it will be a good result for you! I’d consider using a different test though so you don’t torture yourself trying to pick out a faint fink line on a faint pink background!

I think I can still see something on the strip test but it is very faint and you would expect to see some progression or to see something on the FRER. I'll keep my fingers crossed that AF stays away anyway.

I’m not going to test again until I know my period is actually late or hasn’t come at all. I do have pcos so not sure if I’m just testing way too early or if it even affects the hcg levels.

I know I said I wouldn’t check again for a while but I couldn’t help myself and pick up a test I used before when I found out I was pregnant and yes it’s a blue dye one also but I can see a line on this one I have better tests coming tomorrow and will be checking again after tomorrow because then I would be 2 days late

@Rickyreckit what test is that? I wouldn't put too much trust in these blue dye types. If it's Tesco or Sainsbury's own brand they are awful for false positives.

Report
Rickyreckit · 23/09/2020 22:41

It’s the Sainsbury’s one I’ve used it before with my first pregnancy so thought I’d give it a go again if it doesn’t get darker on the next test then I know it’s a false

Report
calimommy · 23/09/2020 22:48

Yeah the Sainsbury and Tesco ones seem to get a shadow where the line would be but it's not a positive
